Feather
feather.so/
Feather is a blogging platform built around the idea that AI chatbots, not just Google, are now a discovery channel for written content — posts publish as plain, JavaScript-light pages so ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity can read and cite them. The homepage backs this with named customer results rather than generic testimonials: UX Playbook is credited with growing from 18k to 109k organic page views on "$0 ad spend," and Unplugged Rest with 25k+ organic sessions and multiple #1 Google rankings. It also runs a set of comparison pages against Notion Sites, WordPress, Medium, Substack, and Ghost, plus free tools like a Google Page Crawl Checker — a support-content strategy more typical of an SEO tool than a blogging one.

Feather's homepage runs 9111 pixels on desktop. It stacks a centered hero, a logo wall, four steps, four alternating feature rows, a template gallery, a two-column feature list and a dark closing card above a four-column footer. Colour stays restrained: near-white and pale grey surfaces, navy-black headlines and primary buttons, and green score rings as the only saturated accent in the product shots. The gallery supplies the rest, framing each sample blog in a solid purple, mint, pink, slate, orange, blue or green border. A sticky header keeps four links and two buttons in view throughout.
Hero, avatars and customer logos
A faint grid backdrop holds the oversized headline "From Notion to Blog", a two-line subhead, and two buttons, a filled "Start for free" and an outlined "View examples". Ten round faces sit above "Join 2,500+ creators and companies", then a tilted browser mockup overlaps a phone view. Below it, "Trusted by 2,500+ creators & companies" introduces twelve logos in two rows of six.
Four steps and four feature rows
"Go from Notion to Blog in 4 Easy Steps" lays out four icon tiles joined by thin lines: "Add your databases", "Map your fields", "Choose your domain" and a fourth. A grey band then asks "Why use Feather with Notion for creating your blog?" Four rows alternate text and screenshot: "Create unlimited blog sites", "View detailed blog analytics" with a bar chart, "Optimized for SEO" beside four score rings, and "Add your blog on the sub folder" with a magnified URL bar.
Template gallery and traffic claim
A three-column grid of nine sample blogs fills the showcase, each thumbnail inside a coloured frame with a name and type under it, such as "Bhanu Teja P" labelled Personal Developer Blog, "Revid.ai" labelled Company Blog and "Skoolprep" labelled Community Blog. Then "This is what consistent publishing does to your traffic." sits above a large empty grey stretch.
Tools list, closing card and footer
"All the tools to build, grow, and own your audience." opens a two-column list of ten items, each an icon tile, bold name and one sentence, from "Custom Domain" to "Lightning Fast". The close is a rounded dark navy card with tilted settings panels on the right, the line "Start your blog while creating content in Notion." and a white "Start for free" button. The footer has four columns, "TOOLS", "LEGAL", "RESOURCES" and "COMPARE", a Google button and "Follow on X".
On mobile
At 390px the hero headline wraps to two lines and the two buttons become full-width bars stacked one above the other. The logos drop to pairs in a staggered grid. The four steps become a vertical timeline with numbered labels 01 to 04. Feature rows put the screenshot above the heading and ticks, and showcase cards run one per row.
Worth borrowing
- Bright borders around each template thumbnail give the gallery colour while the page stays neutral.
- Score rings of 98 and 100 beside the SEO claim turn it into visible evidence.
- A dark card with tilted settings panels gives the last call to action its own surface.
