Inngest

inngest.com/

Inngest is a durable execution platform for background jobs, workflows, and AI agents that embeds retry and state-management logic directly into application code instead of requiring separately run queues or workers. The headline "Unbreakable Agents. Invisible Infra." is followed by the specific claim "No workers. No queues. No refactoring," and the hero shows actual code (step.run(), step.waitForEvent()) rather than an illustration. It states throughput of over 100K executions per second and displays SOC 2 Type II certification alongside logos from ElevenLabs, SoundCloud, and Resend. A named testimonial comes from a Cohere co-founder, and a before/after infrastructure diagram visually contrasts a traditional queue setup against the code-embedded approach.

Inngest's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Inngest's live page — useful references for engineering & infrastructure landing page design.

Inngest design review: how the homepage is built

Inngest's homepage is a near-black, grainy field (#181617) with a coral-orange (#f76246) top banner, coral primary buttons and a solid coral feature card. The full-page capture runs 9488 pixels tall. The hero sets "UNBREAKABLE AGENTS." in solid white capitals above an outlined second line, with a code block on the right. Nav and code use a monospace face, and most section headings are set in uppercase display type. The brand is Inngest, matching meta.name. The page ends in a footer arranged in three columns, with a SOC 2 badge beside the last one.

Above the fold

Above the fold, "UNBREAKABLE AGENTS." sits in solid white over "INVISIBLE INFRA." in outline, with "NO WORKERS. NO QUEUES. NO REFACTORING." beneath. A coral "START BUILDING" button sits beside an outlined "BOOK A DEMO". On the right, "step.run()", "step.waitForEvent()" and "step.score()" list above a short await inngest.score block. A coral top banner reads "Build now: Outcome-based scoring for your workflow".

Logo strip, durability pitch and run grid

Below a logo strip, "How you build agents will change. How they run shouldn't." leads into a paragraph about moving durability and observability into the codebase. Three feature tiles follow: "Durable execution" on a solid coral card, "Flow Control" and "Agent Observability". Then "DURABILITY BELONGS IN CODE" sits over a dark dashboard of completed runs, and a six-item grid lists "AI Agents", "API Endpoints", "Workflows", "Schedules", "Serverless" and "Events".

Testimonial, before-and-after and throughput chart

A testimonial headed "FOR HUMANS AND AGENTS THAT WANT TO KEEP THEIR EDGE" carries a portrait and a quote attributed to "Sully Omar", with "VIEW CASE STUDY" and "VIEW ALL" buttons. "IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE HARD" introduces a before-and-after diagram, followed by a numbered "Install the SDK" carousel. "SCALE INSTANTLY, IMPROVE CONSTANTLY" sets three columns above a multi-line "Total runs throughput" chart.

Security, quickstarts and footer

"STUFF YOUR CISO NEEDS TO SEE" lists six security items, from "SOC 2 Compliant" to "HIPAA BAA Available", in a two-column grid. "START BUILDING" is followed by a "Pick a template" row of three quickstart tiles. A large grainy INNGEST wordmark sits above a footer in three columns: "Platform", "Use cases" and "Resources", with "Company" and "Community" beneath. "Inngest is SOC 2 Type II compliant." appears beside the badge.

On mobile

At 390px the page becomes one column about 9496 pixels tall. The two hero buttons stack full width, and the code block is cut off at the right edge. The logo strip shows partial marks, and the three feature tiles stack with "Durable execution" keeping its coral fill. The six-item grid becomes a single list, and the quickstart tiles stack vertically in the same way.

Worth borrowing

  • Inngest places its code sample beside the hero headline, so the product shows as text before any feature copy.
  • The feature trio uses one solid coral card beside two outlined cards, which makes the lead feature the strongest visual cue.
  • Quickstart tiles pair a monospace QUICKSTART label with a framework name and a GET STARTED link, so each path reads as a choice.
