Mailchimp

mailchimp.com/

Mailchimp is an email and SMS marketing platform, owned by Intuit, that lets businesses build, send, and analyze campaigns and automations. Its hero line, "Email & SMS marketing minus the learning curve," leads into specific plan-level numbers rather than generic plan names: the Standard plan caps at 6,000 emails a month while Premium allows 150,000, and the site was running a "50% off for 12 months" promotion on paid plans at the time of review. It cites a 4.5-star rating drawn from over 33,000 reviews across Capterra, TrustRadius, and G2, and lists 300+ third-party integrations. Trust signals lean on recognizable enterprise customer logos — Spotify, Gap Inc., and Canva are named directly. An About page is linked in the footer under "Company."

Mailchimp's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Mailchimp's live page — useful references for marketing landing page design.

Mailchimp design review: what the page does, section by section

The home page runs about 7,433 px at 1440px wide: utility strip, a dark promo bar, navigation, photo hero, four-card "Recommended for your business" grid, logo strip, dark "Automation" slide, case-study carousel, "Standard" plan offer, integrations grid, dark closing CTA, disclaimers and a mustard footer. Near-black #231e15 alternates with yellow #ffe01b, and #443a2b and #a79523 appear as brown and gold. Detected fonts are Means Web and Graphik Web. Unusually, a live price card sits on the home page.

HeroesView crop

"Email & SMS marketing" sits in white over a darkened photo, with "minus the learning curve" in yellow italic beneath. One subline and a yellow "Sign Up" pill follow, then a star rating and Capterra 4.5, TrustRadius and G2 logos. The navigation adds a sales phone number.

FeaturesView crop

Four white cards form a two-by-two grid, each with an icon, title, three checkmarked bullets, an illustration and a yellow-arrow link. Titles are "Design with ease", "Get more sales", "Reach your audience on any device" and "Connect all your apps". One outlined "See pricing" button follows.

FootersView crop

The mustard footer opens with "Related Links:" and three underlined article links, then five columns: "Products" with nine links, "Resources", "Community", "Company" and "Help". Below sit Intuit family logos, store badges, six social icons, a "GDPR Friendly Tools" badge, a language selector and copyright text.

Logo cloudsView crop

A white strip shows one row of black monochrome logos: Spotify, Bodyarmor, "GAP INC.", Canva, RE/MAX West Realty, "the ONION" and World Central Kitchen, cut off at the edge. No heading or caption accompanies them, and the single color gives unrelated marks equal weight.

CTAsView crop

A near-black band holds a two-line white headline, "Millions of users trust us with their email marketing. You can too.", centered above one small yellow "Sign Up" pill. Nothing else competes, so the button is the only target, repeating the hero's label and color.

Pricing & PlansView crop

The pricing page opens with an "Email Marketing" and "Transactional" toggle, then "Try our Standard plan for 50% off!" beside a Standard card showing ₹575. A "Customize your plan" bar leads into a three-column table for Premium, Standard and Essentials, with "Best value" on Standard.

About UsView crop

A pale blue band holds "About Mailchimp" at left and a photo of three laughing people at right. Below, one narrow text column opens with a drop-cap "M" and runs under "Founder story", "Culture" and "Corporate citizenship". Cards close the page.

Contact UsView crop

"Contact Mailchimp" heads a centered intro, followed by a grey band with a "Topic" dropdown reading "Please select a topic". Lower blocks offer "Looking for API help?", an Atlanta address and an office photo. A closing band links to "Intuit Website" and "Contact Intuit".

Careers pagesView crop

"Grow with us" sits on a pale blue band with two yellow pills, "View Mailchimp Jobs" and "Learn more". A wide rounded photo of parade-goers with inflatable characters follows "Meet Mailchimp". Three circular-image cards read "Company Culture", "Locations" and "Perks & Benefits".

On mobile

At 390px the page runs about 8,641 px. The hero headline wraps to three lines. Feature cards become a swipeable carousel, the first turning solid yellow. Slides swipe, text cut at the right edge. Integrations and footer columns stack in single lists.

Worth borrowing

  • Pair a white headline with one italic yellow phrase, as in "minus the learning curve", to mark the hook.
  • Put a live price card, "Standard" at ₹575, on the home page so the offer is actionable early.
  • Render logos in one color without a caption, as in the Spotify to Canva strip, so they read as one proof band.
