Resend

resend.com/

Resend is an email API for developers, covering transactional email, batch sends (up to 100 messages per request), marketing campaigns with contact management, and inbound email handling via webhooks. Rather than a conventional marketing hero, the page fetched functions as a directory aimed explicitly at automation: a subheading reads "For AI agents and automation, use the tools below," followed by links to a CLI tool, an MCP server, and an "Agent Skills & Best Practices" section — treating AI agents as a distinct audience segment alongside human developers. It lists SDKs across nine languages (Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, Java, Laravel, Rust, .NET) and promotes its React Email framework for building templates, with SOC 2 and GDPR compliance noted.

Resend's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Resend's live page — useful references for engineering & infrastructure landing page design.

Resend design review: how the homepage is built

The homepage is 12,174 pixels tall at 1440px and moves from a left-aligned hero to a logo wall, a language-tabbed code sample, paired feature cards, an editor mock-up, a React section, a nine-item deliverability grid, a dashboard preview, testimonials and a final call to action. Colour stays almost entirely black and grey, with detected values #040404, #272727 and #969696, plus small orange, purple and green accents. Headlines use a serif, domaine, with aBCFavorit and inter for interface and body text. Most sections open with a glossy app-icon graphic above a centered headline.

Above the fold

A pill reading "Join us at Resend Forward" sits above the left-aligned headline "Email for developers", set in a light serif. Two lines of grey copy follow, then a dark "Get started" button and a plain "Documentation" link. A black faceted cube fills the right half. Below, "Companies of all sizes trust Resend to deliver their most important emails." introduces twelve white logos in two rows, including "Raycast" and "supabase".

Code sample, feature cards and editor

An envelope icon tops "Integrate this afternoon", with "this afternoon" in orange. Thirteen language icons, from "Node.js" to "SMTP", sit above a code window with nine framework tabs and an eighteen-line sample. "First-class developer experience" leads two cards, "Test mode" and "Modular webhooks". "Write using a delightful editor" shows a composer, "Go beyond editing" adds "Contact management" and "Broadcast analytics" cards, and "Develop emails using React" ends with a code and preview split.

Deliverability grid, dashboard and testimonials

"Reach humans, not spam folders" lays out nine items in a three-by-three grid, each with an icon, a title such as "Dynamic suppression list" and a short paragraph. A centered quote from "Guillermo Rauch", "CEO at Vercel", follows beneath a white triangle. "Everything in your control" shows three pill tabs above a dark dashboard with "Good", "Good" and "Poor" status cards and a line chart. "Beyond expectations" ends on a row of cropped testimonial cards.

Closing section and footer

The final block reuses the hero serif for "Email reimagined. Available today.", with a "Get started" button and a "Contact us" link. A faint oversized "Resend" wordmark sits behind. The footer holds a street address, four social icons, an "All systems operational" status pill and five link columns, Features, Resources, Company, Help and Community, each listing between four and seven links.

On mobile

At 390px the cube moves above the pill and the hero centers, with "Get started" at full width. The logo wall drops to six marks in two columns, and the headline reads "Integrate tonight". Language icons and tabs scroll sideways, cropped at "PHP". Cards stack, the nine-item grid becomes one column with icons beside titles, and footer links split into two columns with "Community" below.

Worth borrowing

  • Placing a glossy app-icon graphic above each centered headline gives every section a repeatable entry marker on a black page.
  • Setting one phrase of a headline in colour, as with "this afternoon" in orange, adds emphasis without adding elements.
  • Pairing a language-icon row with framework tabs above a single code block lets one sample serve many stacks.
