Brex

brex.com/

Brex bundles corporate cards, expense management, travel, bill pay, and banking into one finance platform for companies from startup to enterprise, operating in 120+ countries. The homepage leads with "Finance built for speed and control" backed by a specific claim of being trusted by 35,000+ companies, then anchors its value proposition in named metrics rather than adjectives: 756 hours saved per year on average, 71% of expenses handled fully by automation, up to 4.36% yield on treasury balances, and up to 30x higher credit limits. Solutions are segmented by company stage (startup, mid-size, enterprise) rather than by role, and the page embeds a video demo directly in the hero.

Brex design review: how the homepage is built

The Brex homepage measures 8,893 pixels on desktop and moves from a hero with an email field to a logo wall, a five-card product row, three audience cards, five alternating feature rows, a statistics band, a tabbed testimonial, a dark call to action, an article carousel and a dark legal-heavy footer. Colour is mostly near-white and pale grey-lavender, with orange-red (#ff3d00) on buttons, links and large figures, and a lighter orange (#ff7347) in imagery. Headlines use "inter". Distinctive for finance is how many short, specific mockups replace stock illustration.

Above the fold

A black strip reads "Summer Release 2026: Deeper connections, sharper controls. See 30+ features now live →". The nav has the logo, four items, "Sign in", "See a demo" and an orange "Get started". The left column holds "Finance built for speed and control.", a one-line subhead, an email field fused to "Get started" and a "See Brex in action" link. A black card and phone rest on a white block at right.

Logo wall, product cards and audiences

"Trusted by 35,000+ top companies." sits over a two-row grey logo wall including "TikTok", "OpenAI" and "reddit". "The card is just the start." introduces five tall cards: "Corporate cards", "Expense management", "Travel", "Bill pay" and "Banking and treasury", each with a small interface fragment at the base. "Solutions for every stage of growth." follows with three portrait cards labelled "Startups", "Mid-size companies" and "Enterprises", each with a "Learn more" link.

Feature rows and proof

Under "Supercharge your financial operations.", five rows alternate a lavender panel with text. Panels hold a "Marketing offsite" budget bar, a "Rideshare" receipt of "$43", a "Treasury account" chart, an "AWS" invoice and a strip of accounting logos. Each row ends in an orange arrow link. "Save and earn more, only with Brex." then shows three large orange figures, "756 hours", "71%" and "Up to 3.70%†", with a small disclaimer beneath.

Closing section and footer

A tabbed testimonial with "DoorDash", "SeatGeek" and "Lemonade" shows a large portrait and a serif quote. A split banner, "See what Brex can do for you.", places a black panel with "Get started" beside an orange phone photograph. "Trending insights on intelligent finance." is a four-article carousel with arrow buttons. The black footer has four link columns, social icons, store badges and a dense block of regulatory text.

On mobile

At 390 pixels the page extends to 12,804 pixels. The hero keeps the headline and email field on top, then shows the product image below. The logo wall wraps to a tighter grid, the five product cards stack, and feature mockups sit above their text. The three statistics stack in one column. The testimonial turns into an accordion with "DoorDash", "SeatGeek" and "Lemonade" rows, and footer links fall into two columns.

Worth borrowing

  • Placing a short interface fragment at the base of each product card shows the feature without a screenshot.
  • Setting proof figures such as "756 hours" in large orange type makes them read as the page's highest-contrast text after the headlines.
  • Using one orange for buttons, links and figures keeps every actionable or quantified item visually linked.
