Documenso
documenso.com/
Documenso is an open-source e-signature platform pitched explicitly as a DocuSign alternative, offering document signing, reusable templates, an API, and white-labeling. Its headline, "Enterprise-Grade E-Signatures. For Everyone," is followed by an embedded live demo of the signing interface rather than a static screenshot. What stands out is how central the open-source angle is to the trust pitch: a customer quote reading "The source code is open!!" is used as a testimonial in place of the usual satisfaction quote, and the site lists specific compliance frameworks (21 CFR Part 11, ESIGN Act, UETA, SOC2, HIPAA) rather than a generic "secure and compliant" line. It also previews unreleased features, like an upcoming Template Store.

Documenso's homepage runs about 6,264 pixels tall on desktop and reads as a light page with two dark green bands. Its colour approach relies on light green #a2e771 for primary buttons, with the deep green #1d2d11 used for the trust strip, the testimonial panel and the footer. Inter is the only typeface listed for the page, and it sets the body text. The hero headline "Enterprise-Grade E-Signatures. For Everyone." sits beside a dark product mockup, and the page matches the Documenso name in the catalog. Compliance badges and an API section stand out for a signing product.
Above the fold
A navigation row reads "Solutions", "Enterprise", "Platform", "Self-Hosted", "Resources", "Developers" and "Pricing", with "Sign In" in an outline button and "Sign Up" in light green. The left column stacks the headline over two paragraphs, the first beginning "Fully compliant signatures out of the box." Two buttons follow: a filled "Get Started" and an outlined "Check out the Platform Plan". On the right, a dark mockup titled "Partnership contract.pdf" shows a document beside a panel headed "Sign document".
Logo strip and customer quotes
Beneath the hero, a dark green strip carries "Trusted by fast-growing companies around the world." above a row of grey customer logos. The next panel, headed "What Our Customers Say", holds two white quote cards on a dark dotted background. Each card has a logo, a long quotation and a named author, with light green arrow buttons below. The quotes are credited to "Nitin Gupta" and "Simon Burns".
Feature grid, FAQ and value cards
The middle of the page is a bordered card grid. A full-width card headed "Documenso API" sits above a two-column row with "Create & Manage Teams" and "Highly Compliant", followed by another pair headed "Create Templates and Enable Direct Linking" and "Your Favorite Tools Work With Documenso". A "Frequently Asked Questions" block lists five questions in an accordion. Below it, nine small value cards sit three per row.
Closing section and footer
The closing section centres "Ready to Supercharge Document Signing?" above a short line and a light green "Get Started" button, with "Try our free plan. No credit card required" beneath it. A near-black footer follows, with the wordmark, three social icons, SOC 2 and HIPAA badges, and link columns headed "Solutions", "Help & resources", "Compliance" and "Features". Its copyright line reads "© 2026 Documenso, Inc. All rights reserved."
On mobile
At 390 pixels the hero headline wraps onto more lines and the product mockup drops beneath the buttons. The logo strip reduces to a single visible logo, and the testimonial panel shows one card at a time with arrows. The feature grid stacks into single-column cards, and the page runs about 10,435 pixels tall. The footer link columns become one long stacked list, with the "Compliance" links sitting near the bottom.
Worth borrowing
- The hero shows the signing interface in a dark mockup before any feature list.
- Compliance badges and the "21 CFR Part 11" card put regulatory proof in the body.
- Named testimonials in a dark green band give social proof its own section.
