Sim
sim.ai/
Sim is an open-source platform for building and governing AI agents at company scale, letting teams create agents visually, by chat, or by code, then control their access, spend, and data from one workspace. Its hero uses an animated example workflow — "Enrich lead" feeding into "Prompt GPT-6 Astra" feeding into "Share lead to Slack" — to make the abstract idea of an agent pipeline concrete rather than describing it in the abstract. The page states adoption in specific dollar and hour figures ("$20,000,000" saved, "1,270,000+" hours completed, "29.7k" GitHub stars) and includes a direct comparison section naming nine competitors rather than avoiding the comparison.

More blog pagesSim design review: how the homepage is built
The Sim homepage runs 8325 pixels on desktop and is built in white, near-black and mid-grey, so the only saturated colour comes from customer photography. The order is a headline hero with a product window, a logo row and customer carousel, a three-figure stat block, a two-card platform section, a workflow diagram, a feature strip, a six-cell security grid, three compliance cards, and a closing banner over a painted Golden Gate scene before a seven-column footer. Tight-set sans headlines carry the hierarchy, and product interface mockups replace abstract illustration throughout.
Above the fold
A pill reading "Use GPT-6 Astra" with a NEW tag sits above a three-line left-aligned headline, "Build and govern every AI agent in one place". The subhead, "Build, deploy, and manage AI agents with central control over access, spend, and data.", sits right beside two pills: a solid black "Request a demo" and an outlined "Start building". Below, a grey painted panel holds a mock app.
Customers, stats and platform cards
Five grey logos lead into a carousel with arrow buttons whose first slide is a forest photograph tagged "Featured customer". A paragraph sits beside three ruled stats: "$20M", "1.27M" and "100,000+". Then "One Platform for every AI Agent" introduces two cards, a dark "Build agents" and a light "Govern at scale", each topped by a line icon. A pale panel, "Watch the workflow build.", ends in a "Start building with Sim" pill.
Feature strip, security grid and compliance
Under "Everything AI agents need to do real work", a horizontal strip shows a terminal, a branching diagram and connector tiles, captioned "CLI", "Workflows" and "Knowledge Base". A bordered grid of six cells follows, from "SSO & SCIM" to "Self-hosting", each with a line icon and two-line description. "Central governance for enterprise AI" then precedes a "Trust Center" pill and three equal cards with large outline icons: "SOC 2 Type II", "ISO 27001" and "GDPR".
Closing section and footer
"Every agent your company runs. All in one place." repeats the hero buttons, centred over a greyscale painted Golden Gate Bridge with a small blimp bearing the sim name. A footer of seven text columns follows: Product, Resources, Compare, Integrations, Models, Socials and Legal. A sun and moon theme toggle sits under the logo, a very large sim wordmark fills the middle, and the copyright sits bottom left.
On mobile
At 390 pixels the hero stacks into one column, with the headline in three lines and both buttons at full width, black one first. The product window shrinks to a single "Enrich lead" node card. Logos form a two-column grid, stats stack between dividers, and the platform cards sit one above the other. The feature strip becomes a swipe carousel labelled "Swipe to explore".
Worth borrowing
- Putting the subhead and both buttons right of the headline shifts weight to the product window below.
- Three oversized figures with small grey captions between hairline rules give the proof section a ledger feel.
- A painted illustration behind the repeated buttons gives a monochrome page one memorable image.
