FuseBase

thefusebase.com/

The nimbusweb.me URL now redirects (301) to thefusebase.com, indicating the product has rebranded from Nimbus Web to FuseBase. It's an AI-native client portal platform: internal team workspaces paired with external client-facing portals, pitched explicitly as microsites rather than another project-management tool — the site contrasts itself directly against Notion, SharePoint, and Confluence for that reason. It claims 3,000+ businesses, a 4.8 rating, and a "Product of the year" badge, plus HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II compliance. The homepage structure runs through Solutions, Industries, and a GitHub/Discord link in the nav, followed by problem/solution sections and an awards block — an unusual mix of enterprise compliance badges next to open developer-community links.

FuseBase design review: how the homepage is built

The page runs from a centred hero with a six-card product strip, through a logo row, two dark tabbed demo panels, a filterable template gallery, award badges, a definition block, a seven-question accordion and a security row, to a closing banner and dark footer. At 8542 pixels on desktop it is long, and almost every block is a screenshot of a different workspace theme. Backgrounds are near-white with dark teal-black buttons and panels; navy #153678 and blue #0239aa show up in the portal mockups and compliance badges. Inter is the display face. The hero proves flexibility with six product views instead of one illustration.

Above the fold

Five gold stars sit over a two-line headline, followed by a grey subhead and two buttons: a dark "Try it free" and an outlined "Book a demo". Below, six cards in a three-by-two grid carry tab labels: "Team Hub", "Client Portals & Onboarding", "Databases", "AI Agents", "Subscription for Apps (AI coding)" and "Apps (AI coding)". Four show "Similar to:" with competitor logos, and the Databases card adds an "Automations" tab.

Logo row and two tabbed demo panels

"Trusted by 3000+ businesses across the world" sits over nine greyscale wordmarks. A large rounded dark panel follows, with a pill switcher reading "Client portals", "FuseBase Work", "External apps" and a pastel "Production board" flanked by yellow and purple themed portals. A second panel shows a four-column kanban of "Backlog", "In progress", "Review" and "Complete" cards, and each panel is followed by the same two buttons.

Template gallery, awards and explainer

"Start with what you need, customize as you go" introduces five filter pills: "All", "Agencies", "Consulting", "Finance & legal" and "Training & hiring". Ten thumbnails fill three columns plus one orphan, each split into a light half and a dark half of one dashboard. Under "Recognized with numerous awards", fifteen seals fill two rows. "What is client portal" is a single bordered paragraph with bold phrases such as "no learning curve".

Closing section and footer

Seven collapsed questions follow, one being "How is FuseBase different from Notion, SharePoint, or Confluence?". "Security & Integration" shows three outlined cards, including "Enterprise-Grade Security", then circular "SOC 2 Type II" and "HIPAA" seals. A teal-gradient banner asks "Ready to work smarter?" with a white "Get started now" button. The dark footer has five columns, "PRODUCT", "PLANS", "COMPANY", "COMPARE" and "LEGAL", plus an "English" / "Deutsch" switch.

On mobile

At 390px the page grows to 12616 pixels. The headline wraps onto four lines while the two buttons stay side by side. Hero cards collapse into one column, and the nine logos shrink into a tiny line. The kanban is cropped to two columns. Gallery pairs stack singly, seals reflow four per row, footer links form two columns, and the closing buttons stack vertically.

Worth borrowing

  • Six differently themed product screenshots under the hero buttons show range before any copy is read.
  • Repeating the same two buttons after each demo panel keeps a conversion path open.
  • Light and dark halves in every gallery thumbnail demonstrate theming without text.
