Holocene
holocene.eu/
Holocene's Epoch product reconstructs real supplier and forwarder arrival dates by reading a company's existing inbound emails, with no supplier portal, integration, or ERP change required. The headline "Your inbox is the TMS. Live in 10 minutes" is backed by unusually specific dollar figures: a single case citing €2.4M in releasable working capital found on one shipping lane, €500M in purchase orders processed to date, and an 8-week path from kickoff to financial validation. It also cites a granted European patent number (EP 4544475) as evidence of technical novelty. The FAQ section directly rebuts competitor categories by name (Oracle OTM, SAP) and explicitly distances the pitch from supply-chain finance, framing the product as an operational fix rather than a lending product.

The page runs top to bottom through a hero, a stats row, a split feature section, a quote carousel, an accordion FAQ, an orange call-to-action band and a black footer, over about 12,776 pixels. The hero headline reads "The inbound TMS, done right. Learns your network. Then heals it." Colour rests on brown-black photography: #453826 sets the wash behind the hero, and #e85e21 fills the pilot buttons. Display typefaces are listed as Beausiteclassicweb and Aeonik. Distinctive here is a working product dashboard set directly beneath the hero, rather than an abstract illustration.
Above the fold
The hero sits on a dark brown rock-formation photograph. The nav reads "Epoch", "Challenges", "Company" and "Resources", beside an orange "See the 6-week pilot plan" button. The subhead "Runs on emails you already get from suppliers and forwarders." sits under the headline. A video card on the right holds "See the 6-week pilot" and a cash-on-the-water button. A logo strip, including "sword" and "SALTWELL", closes the hero.
Stat cards and the Visibility feature block
Three stat cards sit under the logo strip: "€2.4M" for "releasable working capital found on a single lane", "€500M" for "in purchase orders handled to date", and "EP 4544475" for "granted European patent — running in production today". The next block pairs "Visibility tells you where your materials are." with a portrait photo and four cards, including "Keeps score on itself".
Inbox cards, buffer copy and the stat road photo
A black band quotes "We don't need clean data. We need real data. Those are different things." A white section headed "Your inbox." carries one dark card and four light ones, among them "Nothing to install" and "Nothing to clean". A split block reads "Your buffer isn't sized against demand. It's sized against doubt." beside a photo of several people at a rail. A road photo below carries three stat tiles.
Closing section and footer
The orange closing band, headed "Find out what's on your water.", carries "Ninety seconds, five inputs, no signup." on the right. Two buttons sit below: "Run the calculator →" in solid black and "See the 6-week pilot plan" as an outline. The black footer shows the tagline "Embrace Evolution in Action." and link columns headed "Challenges", "Solutions", "Company" and "Resources".
On mobile
At 390 pixels the hero stacks into one column, the video card moves beneath the headline, and its buttons become full-width bars. Stat cards and inbox tiles each become a single column, and the dashboard shrinks to a narrow card. The footer turns its link columns into collapsible rows headed "Challenges", "Solutions", "Company" and "Resources". The closing band stacks "Run the calculator →" above the pilot link.
Worth borrowing
- Place a working product screen directly beneath the hero, as this page does, so the headline has something concrete to point at.
- Pair each large figure with one short label, such as "€500M" above "in purchase orders handled to date".
- Group objections under plain headings in an accordion, as "Working capital", "The mailbox" and "Fit" do here.
