LottieFiles is a platform for creating, hosting, and implementing lightweight Lottie-format vector animations across websites, apps, presentations, and social media. Its homepage leads with "Great designs come alive with motion!" and emphasizes the format itself as a selling point — "Tiny file format but mighty" — rather than leading with a product screenshot. A distinctive feature called "Motion Tokens" is described as binding animation properties to real data, letting an animation update dynamically rather than playing a fixed loop, which is a more technical pitch than most animation tools make on their homepage. The nav is organized around Products, Integrations, Tools, Customers, and Learn, with a dedicated animation search bar in the header — treating the site as much as a searchable library as a product pitch.

More blog pagesLottiefiles design review: how the homepage is built
The page runs top to bottom as a left-aligned hero with a cast of cartoon shapes, a four-tile feature strip, a logo row, a carousel of brand cards, an animation library with a search box, a black tabbed product panel, an asset-management block, a black statistics panel, an integrations cloud, a yellow AI panel, testimonial cards and a black footer. It is 12388 pixels tall on desktop. Teal #009689 marks the buttons and #fcbb02 fills the AI panel, with black and white sections alternating around them. Display type is DM Sans LF and body type is Inter LF.
Above the fold
The header holds the wordmark, "Products", "Integrations", "Tools", "Customers", "Learn" and "Pricing" and a teal "Sign up". The very large black headline "Great designs come alive with motion!" is left-aligned over a grey subhead and two buttons, "Get started for free" in teal and "Get in touch" outlined. Below sit four tiles: "Tiny", "Motion Tokens", "Interactive" and "Dev ready", each with a coloured icon.
Brand cards, animation library and Lottie Creator
"Trusted by 16 million+ designers and developers from over 280,000 companies worldwide" sits over a grey row of ten logos, and a carousel of cards for Walmart, The Washington Post, Canva and CNN create. A search field labelled "Search animations..." tops a scrolling mosaic of thumbnails. A rounded black panel, "Your motion creation, simplified", has three tabs, "Lottie Creator", "LottieFiles for Figma" and "LottieFiles for After Effects", over an editor screenshot.
Card grid, asset management and statistics
A light grey grid follows, with cards titled "Optimize and download", "Progress updates", "Seamless developer handoff" and "Integration". "Digital Asset Management" lists "Images", "Design files", "Motion" and "Videos",. A black panel, "Lottie, the industry standard for motion design", holds tiles "10x", "40%", "5x" and "3x", and bars for "dotLottie", "Lottie JSON" and "GIF".
AI panel, testimonials and footer
"Implement your animations in just a few clicks" is ringed by floating tool logos. A yellow panel, "Unlock your creative potential with AI", holds four dark tiles, "Motion Copilot", "Prompt to Vector", "Raster to Vector in Figma" and "Prompt to Themes", beside a wind turbine illustration. Testimonial cards from Swiggy, airbnb and Wise follow "Design teams love LottieFiles". The black footer opens with "We believe motion should be accessible" and six link columns.
On mobile
At 390px the page grows to 15357 pixels. The hero stacks headline, subhead and both buttons above the characters, and the four tiles form a two-by-two grid. The logo row is clipped to a scrolling strip. Grid cards and statistics tiles fall into a single column, and the AI tiles become tabs under the turbine image. Footer columns pair up two across, with the badges stacked above them.
Worth borrowing
- A strip of four short tiles, "Tiny", "Motion Tokens", "Interactive" and "Dev ready", puts the feature points directly under the hero.
- Rounded black panels and one yellow panel against white break a 12388-pixel page into distinct chapters.
- Setting "dotLottie" against "Lottie JSON" and "GIF" as three bars shows the file-size claim without a paragraph.
