Speakeasy
speakeasy.com/
Speakeasy is a governance and security control plane for enterprise AI agents, MCP servers, and AI "skills," letting organizations catalog what AI tools are in use, tie access to their existing identity provider, and enforce policy on agent actions in real time. The homepage frames the problem as three named failure modes — "Shadow AI," shared-credential access, and enforcement gaps without audit trails — rather than a single generic pain point. It cites specific customer-reported figures, including 60,000 weekly agent sessions governed at MoonPay and 200% MCP usage growth at PlanetScale, and lists deployment through existing device-management tools like Jamf and Intune, a detail that ties the product to IT operations rather than just security teams.

More blog pagesSpeakeasy design review: how the homepage is built
The page runs 11,050 pixels tall, from the hero through a comparison table, platform mock-ups, an identity row, a three-step diagram, a dark results panel, compliance cards, a question list and a footer. The palette is a near-white ground (#fafafa) with grey rules, and near-black (#161518) for the results panel and type. Accents come from thin rainbow hairlines and small red and blue tags. Display headings use the serif face Tobias, and labels use the monospace ABCDiatypeMono beside the sans ABCDiatype. The brand shown is Speakeasy, matching the metadata name.
Above the fold
The header lists six labels and an outlined "TALK TO US" button at right. The left column holds a bordered label, "NEW SKILLS MANAGEMENT: SECURITY AND SYSTEM OF RECORD", above the serif headline "Securely Scale Enterprise AI." A black "TALK TO US >" button sits beside "START GOVERNING" and a rotating agent name. A "TRUSTED BY" row lists six brands, from Google to LaunchDarkly, in grey.
Problem comparison and platform mock-ups
Section 01, "Your security & identity platforms weren't built for AI.", is a three-row table headed "SHADOW AI", "SENSITIVE ACCESS" and "ENFORCEMENT". A red "WITHOUT A CONTROL PLANE" column sits beside a blue "ON THE CONTROL PLANE" column under "Speakeasy is." A serif quote from "Thierry Dang", Security Operations, follows. Section 02, "Every Agent Action. Governed on one control plane.", shows a chat window beside a dashboard with "TOTAL SPEND" and "RISK FINDINGS" tiles.
Identity row, flow diagram and results panel
"Govern AI" and "Secure AI" each list three ticked bullets. "WORKS WITH EVERY IDENTITY PROVIDER" lists okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Auth0, WorkOS, Google Workspace and Ping Identity, plus an "Any SAML / OIDC" box. Section 03, "Works with your existing security and AI stack", runs a flow from "YOUR MDM" through "AI CONTROL PLANE" to "YOUR SYSTEMS", with three numbered steps. A dark panel shows "100%", "60K" and "200%".
Compliance, quote, questions and closing panel
Section 05, "Your compliance needs an AI control plane", pairs a SOC 2 emblem with "EU AI Act", "ISO 42001" and "NIST AI RMF" cards, then a "COMPLIANCE AT SPEAKEASY" note. A serif quote from "Shreyas Kumar", Co-founder at Fermat, is followed by a "QUESTIONS" list that opens with "What is an AI control plane?" The closing area reads "AI everywhere." and "Control here." above two buttons.
On mobile
At 390px the headline and black "TALK TO US >" button stack above the trusted-by row. The problem comparison becomes a list, with each row tagged "WITHOUT A CONTROL PLANE" or "ON THE CONTROL PLANE" above its text. The platform section stacks its two mock-ups. Compliance cards stack into a single column, and the footer becomes one long list of links.
Worth borrowing
- Tagging each comparison row with a red "WITHOUT A CONTROL PLANE" label and a blue "ON THE CONTROL PLANE" label makes the contrast readable at a glance.
- A flow diagram from "YOUR MDM" to "YOUR SYSTEMS" turns architecture into a plain three-step story.
- A black results panel with "100%", "60K" and "200%" sets large numerals against short captions.
