Synara is a free, open-source, local-first desktop app that acts as a control plane for running multiple coding AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Devin CLI, and others) in parallel, each on its own task with isolated Git worktrees, terminals, and diffs, delivering results as pull requests. The site makes no performance-metric claims, instead stating support for nine agent runtimes and leaning on organizing phrases like "One task owns one line of work" and "Providers stay portable." It relies on an FAQ section rather than testimonials or customer logos for credibility, explicitly noting the tool "does not require a Synara cloud workspace account" for those who want to keep everything local.

Trysynara design review: how the homepage is built
The Trysynara homepage, branded "Synara" on the page, runs about 10,715 pixels on desktop. Blocks go top to bottom: a full-width hero over a painted sky and temple with an app screenshot, a nine-provider grid, a four-cell principles table, six numbered feature rows, a testimonial carousel with post cards, a four-cell privacy grid, a "Let the models verify the fit." block, a seven-question FAQ and a closing call to action. The warm off-white body contrasts with blues such as #3986da from the sky. Geist is the display face. Section labels use small monospace type.
Above the fold
The navigation bar holds the "Synara" logo, links "X", "Install", "Docs", "Changelog" and "Sponsor", a theme toggle, a GitHub count of "1.9K" and "Download". A row of nine provider icons sits over the painted landscape, above the white headline "Run every coding agent in one workspace". A black "Download for macOS" button and a translucent "Star on GitHub" button follow, then "Already downloaded by 17,392 people".
Provider grid, principles and feature rows
Under the app screenshot, "Keep the runtimes you already trust." introduces a three-by-three ruled grid of nine providers, each cell with an icon, name, one-line description and a right-aligned tag such as "CLI + account". A two-by-two table of principles follows, then six rows with monospace eyebrows from "01 / DELIVERY" to "06 / VERIFICATION". Text and dark interface fragments over the same painting alternate sides, with rows three and six stretching full width.
Social proof, privacy and model prompts
"What people notice when they use Synara." shows a row of avatars with "35+ posts and counting", a large frosted quote card marked "3 / 35" with arrows and a pause button, and a scrolling band of X post cards with like counts. A two-by-two grid under "Know where every part of the work goes." lists privacy points. A centred block then offers three pill buttons: "Ask ChatGPT", "Ask Claude" and "Ask Gemini".
FAQ, closing call to action and footer
Seven collapsed questions sit behind chevrons under "Understand the boundary before you run the work.", the first being "What is Synara?". The closing block repeats the provider icon row and the hero headline, with one black "Download for macOS" button and "Free and open source" text. The footer is a single line: "Made by @emanueledpt" on the left and four links on the right.
On mobile
At 390 pixels the navigation shrinks to the logo, theme toggle, "Download" and a menu icon. The hero buttons stack at full width, with "Download Synara" in black above the translucent "Star on GitHub", and the app screenshot becomes a small strip. The provider grid turns into a single column of nine rows. Feature rows stack heading and text above each image, and X post cards line up vertically.
Worth borrowing
- A painted landscape behind the hero and every screenshot gives a developer tool a distinctive, consistent backdrop.
- Ruled grid cells with a right-aligned tag such as "CLI + account" make nine providers scannable at once.
- Prompt buttons for "Ask ChatGPT", "Ask Claude" and "Ask Gemini" let visitors check claims without leaving the page.
