Turso
turso.tech/
Turso is a rewritten SQLite engine built to run as a drop-in replacement for SQLite while scaling to what the homepage calls "millions of databases" under one architecture, supporting embedded, remote cloud, or hybrid deployment. It leads with a technical feature set rather than customer proof: concurrent writes via MVCC to eliminate "database is locked" errors, built-in full-text search through Tantivy, native vector search, local-first sync, AES-256 encryption, and change-data-capture for audit logging. The page has no customer logos or testimonials, instead offering an OpenAPI spec and an MCP server manifest, and stresses that "existing SQL, schema, and queries work unchanged" when switching over.

The page opens on a nav bar with "What is Turso?", "Docs", "Pricing", "Blog" and "Changelog", then a hero, a manifesto block, two side-by-side product cards, a six-quote testimonial grid, three use-case cards, SDK icon panels, a community pair and a four-column footer. It runs 7192 pixels at desktop width. Colour is a near-black navy ground with mint #4ff7d1 for headlines and buttons, and magenta #d946ef marking the beta embedded engine against mint for the production cloud product. Inter is the detected display face. Magenta and mint pairing recurs from the product cards to the community cards.
HeroesView crop
The hero centres a pill reading "The Database for the Age of AI Agents" above the mint headline "Millions of Databases. One Architecture." in two lines. A grey subhead and one "Start for free now" button follow, then eight greyscale customer logos in two rows of four, including "KIN" and "Poke.com".
FootersView crop
Four link columns carry mint headings: "Turso Cloud" with six links, an unlabelled column with four such as "Embedded Replicas", "Turso Database" with three, and "Company" with six ending in "Brand". A bottom row pairs the bull logo and "© Turso 2026" with six social icons.
Pricing & PlansView crop
The pricing page starts with "Generous pricing for every stage" and a "Monthly" and "Yearly" toggle. One outlined comparison table has four plan columns: "Free" at $0, "Developer" at $4.99, "Scaler" at $24.92 and "Pro" at $416.58, each with a mint button. Rows run from "Databases" to "SOC2". Below, three cards cover enterprise, partners and startups, then eleven collapsed "FAQs" rows.
About UsView crop
Headed "About", this page begins with a "What is Turso?" panel of four icon-led points. "Founders" follows as two outlined cards with portraits overlapping the top edge, "Glauber Costa" as CEO and "Pekka Enberg" as CTO. "Our Investors" closes it with ten white logo tiles and thirteen photo cards of named angels.
Blog pagesView crop
A "Blog" title sits above seven category filters from "All" to "Perspectives", then a card grid. The top row gives a large featured post, "We're building Postgres in Rust. Using the LLVM of databases", beside "Turso v0.7.0". Three-column cards below each hold an illustration, mint category label, title, avatars and date, ending in pagination up to "12".
On mobile
At 390px the 14934-pixel page becomes a single column and the nav bar does not appear in the capture. The logos reflow into rows of one or two, and the two product cards stack with the beta "Turso" card first, features becoming one-item rows. Testimonials and use-case cards stack, SDK icons run three per row, and footer links drop to two columns.
Worth borrowing
- Magenta "BETA" and mint "PRODUCTION READY" pills with matching card outlines separate a new engine from a shipped service without extra explanation.
- A single outlined pricing table with check marks that appear tier by tier lets visitors compare plans row by row and see where each feature begins.
- Placing investor logos beside photo cards of named founders, each with a company title, turns the about page into a credibility wall.
