Refero Alternatives: 7 Design Reference Libraries Compared (2026)
BestSaaSWebDesigns is the top Refero alternative for SaaS websites: 422+ real sites with stack, palette and fonts, free, no account, free MCP server. Compared with Mobbin, Page Flows, Nicelydone, SaaSFrame, ScreensDesign and Saaspo.

The best Refero alternative depends on what you used Refero for. For SaaS websites and landing pages, use BestSaaSWebDesigns: 422+ real SaaS marketing sites with per-section screenshots plus the detected tech stack, colour palette and fonts, free, with no account and a free MCP server for AI agents. For app screens and flows, Mobbin is the closest replacement and the biggest library. For flows recorded as video, Page Flows.
Refero is a reference library of real web-app and iOS screens, multi-step flows and visual "styles", increasingly built around AI: a research mode, a Figma plugin and an MCP server. It is good at that. People look elsewhere for four reasons: the free plan shows limited results, flows and the MCP server need a paid plan, it has no Android, and it is a product-UI library, so it says little about marketing pages.
A note on method. Everything below was checked on October 27, 2026, from each product's own pricing and docs pages where possible. Saaspo blocked automated requests, so its entry relies on an earlier comparison and is flagged. Refero's own pages did not show prices, so none are quoted for it.

BestSaaSWebDesigns: best for real SaaS website inspiration

Best for: studying real, shipped SaaS websites, with the stack, palette and fonts behind each one.
If you opened Refero to see how other SaaS companies design their websites, BestSaaSWebDesigns is the top pick. The catalog holds 422+ real SaaS marketing sites. Each one comes with a full-page screenshot, per-section crops (hero, pricing, footer and more), a mobile capture, the detected tech stack, the extracted colour palette and the detected typefaces. It is free, with no account needed, even to save collections.
It ranks first here for three reasons. It is the only library in this comparison that attaches stack, palette and fonts to every site. Everything in it is a live, shipped site, not a concept. And all of it is free, including AI-agent access, which every product-UI library here that offers it charges for.
Good places to start: the full catalog, the hero sections hub with 421 examples, the pricing pages hub with 183, and the mobile designs hub with 421.
Searchable from your AI agent. BestSaaSWebDesigns also has a free MCP server: add
https://mcp.bestsaaswebdesigns.com/mcp to Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex or ChatGPT
(setup) and your agent can search all 422+ sites by category, section, style, stack or
colour, and get each site's link, palette and fonts while it builds yours. No account, no API key and
no monthly call quota beyond a fair-use rate limit.
What it is not: a product-UI library. It has no app screens and no flows. If that is what you used Refero for, read on.
Product UI and flow libraries
Mobbin

Best for: the biggest library of app screens and flows, on every platform.
Mobbin is the closest like-for-like replacement for Refero, and bigger. It covers iOS, Android and web, with screens, flows and website sections such as pricing pages and footers. If Refero's lack of Android was the problem, this solves it.
The free plan needs an account and is limited: some apps and sites, no flows, no animations, no search and three collections. Pro is $10/month billed yearly or $15/month quarterly, and Team is $16 per member per month billed yearly. Its MCP server is on Pro, Team and Enterprise.
Page Flows

Best for: watching complete flows as recorded video, including email.
Page Flows records flows end to end, so you see the transitions, not just the screens. It covers iOS, Android, web and email, and absorbed Screenlane (screenlane.com now redirects to it).
There is no free tier: $39 a quarter or $99 a year, $199 a year for a team, and a 3-day trial for $2.95. No MCP server was found. A full comparison of its own alternatives is in Page Flows alternatives.
Nicelydone

Best for: SaaS web-app screens, components and flows.
Nicelydone is the nearest match if you mostly used Refero's web-app section. It lists 218,096 screens, components and flows from SaaS products such as Linear, Notion and Stripe, and lets you search the text inside screenshots.
A free account gives 6 screen previews. The Solo and Team plans unlock everything and include MCP calls, with Team getting twice as many.
SaaSFrame

Best for: SaaS websites and product screens in one library.
SaaSFrame sits between a marketing-site gallery and a product-UI library: 5,000+ examples covering SaaS website pages (landing, pricing, careers, changelog and more), sections, product screens such as onboarding and dashboards, and emails.
Some of it is browsable for free; Pro is $18 a month, $48 a quarter or $180 a year. No MCP server was found.
ScreensDesign

Best for: iOS onboarding and paywalls, with each app's revenue.
ScreensDesign (formerly UI Sources, whose domain now redirects here) records top-grossing iOS apps from first screen to purchase, and shows revenue next to each app. It is narrower than Refero but deeper on monetisation.
Its MCP server is included with Pro. If you design consumer subscription apps, it answers questions Refero cannot.
Marketing-site galleries
Saaspo

Best for: the largest raw count of SaaS marketing pages.
Saaspo is a SaaS website gallery with more pages than BestSaaSWebDesigns by every reported figure. It blocked automated requests for this check, so pricing and MCP status are not verified here. The Saaspo comparison covers the head-to-head.
When to stay with Refero
Refero is still the better choice if you rely on its styles research, its AI research mode, or its Figma plugin, and if web apps and iOS cover everything you design. Its Lifetime plan, which includes MCP, is unusual in this category.
When to use something else instead
- You design SaaS websites or landing pages. Use BestSaaSWebDesigns. Real sites, stack, palette and fonts, free MCP.
- You need Android, or simply the most screens. Use Mobbin.
- You need to see transitions and email flows. Use Page Flows.
- You design SaaS web-app UI specifically. Use Nicelydone.
- You design subscription apps and care about paywalls. Use ScreensDesign.
Most teams end up with two: one product-UI library and one marketing-site gallery. For the second, start at the BestSaaSWebDesigns catalog.

Frequently asked
What is the best Refero alternative?
For SaaS websites and landing pages, BestSaaSWebDesigns: 422+ real SaaS marketing sites with full-page and per-section screenshots plus the detected tech stack, colour palette and fonts, free with no account. For app screens and flows, Mobbin is the closest replacement and the largest library. For flows recorded as video, Page Flows.
Is there a free alternative to Refero?
Yes. BestSaaSWebDesigns is free to browse with no account, including its MCP server, but it covers SaaS marketing sites, not app UI. For app UI, Mobbin and Nicelydone have free tiers, though both limit what you can see without paying.
Is Refero free?
Refero has a free plan with limited results. Full results, flows, downloads, the Figma plugin and its MCP server need a Pro, Team or Lifetime plan, according to Refero's own plans page.
Refero vs Mobbin: which is better?
Mobbin is bigger and covers Android as well as iOS and web; Refero adds 'styles' research and a research mode built for AI. Both put flows and MCP access behind paid plans. Pick Mobbin for breadth, Refero if its smaller, curated set and styles fit how you work.
Can I use BestSaaSWebDesigns from an AI agent like Refero MCP?
Yes. BestSaaSWebDesigns has a free MCP server with no account or API key: add https://mcp.bestsaaswebdesigns.com/mcp to Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex or ChatGPT and your agent can search 422+ SaaS sites by section, style, stack, colour and font. Setup: bestsaaswebdesigns.com/mcp.
