Linear
linear.app/
Linear is project- and issue-tracking software marketed as "the system for product development," explicitly built to be used jointly by human teams and AI agents. Its headline, "The product development system for teams and agents," is followed by a concrete demonstration rather than a mockup: the homepage shows an actual issue, labeled DRV-8852, threaded through a real-looking Slack conversation and a linked pull request. It names a specific feature, "Loops," for recurring agent-run workflows, and states its own "Linear Agent" runs on Claude Opus 5 — a specific model dependency most competitors don't disclose. The site claims it is used by more than 40,000 product teams, from startups to enterprises. An About page is linked in the footer.

The home page runs about 9,960px at 1440px wide. Order: sticky nav, headline over an app mockup, seven-logo customer strip, three line-art illustrations, four feature blocks, Changelog timeline, two testimonial cards, closing call to action, five-column footer. Colour is near-black (#08090b) with grey steps (#242628, #464749, #767878); indigo #5e6ad2 appears only in small details such as buttons. Type is Inter Variable throughout, with large white display headings against smaller grey body copy. Distinctive for a productivity tool, the page demonstrates the product through dimmed, dense interface mockups rather than illustration.
HeroesView crop
The headline "The product development system for teams and agents" runs left-aligned in two lines of very large type, above a one-line grey subhead and a small "New" link. A full-width issue-tracker mockup follows, with a floating agent chat panel overlapping its lower right. Sign up is the only filled nav button.
FeaturesView crop
Each block pairs a two-line title with a paragraph and "Learn more" link, then a wide mockup. Intake shows a Slack thread beside a board with Todo and In Progress columns, fading to black at the edges. Numbered links, 1.1 Linear Agent to 1.4 Linear Asks, sit below.
CTAsView crop
The closing band centres "Built for the future. Available today." in very large white type over empty black. Two pill buttons follow: a light-filled "Get started" and a dark, low-contrast "Contact sales". No imagery or form appears, and the same block ends the about and blog pages.
PricingView crop
Four columns split by hairline rules: Free at $0, Basic at $10, Business at $16 per user/month, and Enterprise as Custom. Checkmarked lists inherit upward through "All Basic features +" openers. Only Business pairs a filled Get started with Contact sales.
About UsView crop
A headline over a 3:18 founder video leads into a mission statement. Eight greyscale portraits run five then three with names and titles, then a four-column plain-text roster. "Backed by the best" closes with Accel and Sequoia tiles above two columns of angel investors.
Careers pagesView crop
"Help us craft high-quality tools" sits above a 6:06 video, then an indigo README link and five interview thumbnails. Eleven numbered principles run in two columns. Open roles sit under grey department labels, each row giving title, region and an indigo "Learn more" link.
Blog pagesView crop
The Now page opens with filter tabs from All to Press, a search field and an RSS icon. Three-column grids use line-art thumbnails or customer photos, interrupted by a four-step Changelog timeline, four Press video thumbnails, and a dated Archive ending in "Load more".
Contact UsView crop
"How can we help?" sits left with a short grey paragraph, while bordered Sales and Support cards fill the right, their upper halves blank. Below, a "Get in touch" list stacks four labelled links, then a row reading "All systems operational".
FootersView crop
A logo-only first column leads into five link columns: Product, Features, Company, Resources and Connect. Privacy, Terms, DPA and AUP sit in a smaller grey row beneath. Headings are white, links grey, and no newsletter field or social icons appear.
On mobile
At 390px the headline wraps to four lines and the hero mockup is cropped at the right edge. Logos and illustration cards become swipe rows. Feature blocks stack mockup, title, paragraph and a numbered link such as "1.0 Intake". The footer drops to two columns, with Legal split out.
Worth borrowing
- Mockups fading to black at their edges show real interface detail without competing with the large titles.
- Numbered links such as 1.0 Intake index the long mobile feature scroll.
- One light-filled button among four dark pricing columns marks a single tier.
