Arc
arc.net/
Arc is a Chromium-based web browser from The Browser Company, organized around Spaces and Profiles for segmenting browsing activity rather than around speed or technical benchmarks. The homepage's main headline is a borrowed review quote — “Arc is the Chrome replacement I've been waiting for,” attributed to The Verge — rather than the company's own claim. Notably, the page carries a prominent banner steering visitors toward Dia, the company's newer browser, and warns that Arc itself now receives only Chromium security updates rather than active patches, an unusual admission for a product's own homepage to lead with. There are no user counts, market-share figures, or performance stats anywhere on the page.

More blog pagesArc design review: how the homepage is built
Arc's homepage runs about 6,125 pixels on desktop and is set on a saturated royal blue (#3e45fb). The palette runs royal blue, a deeper #2702c2 and a pale #c9d9ec. The page leads with Dia, a newer product, and treats Arc as the parent brand. The hero stacks a headline, one subhead, a single button and a product frame, with no feature grid above the fold. Headings are set in Marlin Soft SQ and body copy in Marlin, as listed. For a browser maker, the distinctive choice is a real product window on a coloured backdrop in most sections rather than illustration.
Above the fold
The headline "Meet Dia, the next evolution of Arc" sits over the subhead "Weekly security updates, SOC 2 certification, and the Arc DNA you know (and love)." A dark "Try Dia" pill sits beneath. Below it, a browser mock shows a "Work" workspace sidebar, with a chat reply opening "Your priorities this week are GTM/marketing work, revenue alignment, and staying on top of comms."
Press quotes and the first feature sections
The first band is a royal-blue slab quoting "Arc is the Chrome replacement I've been waiting for.", credited to "THE VERGE". A press strip follows, led by "Bloomberg". "A browser that doesn't just meet your needs — it anticipates them." heads a photo-gallery mock with a "Mood Boarding" sidebar, and "Space for the different sides of you." heads an orange-to-red window showing "Read Later" and "Shopping" folders.
Setup, privacy and testimonials
Beneath the Spaces window, "Your perfect setup." shows a split view with "mf zine" beside a card list, plus a floating theme panel of colour swatches. "The comfort of privacy." follows with "Learn more about privacy in Arc →" as a link. Below, a cream band of four testimonial cards runs, such as "Arc lives up to the hype." credited to "@FIVEBOIII".
Closing section and footer
The closing band is blue, headed "Enter your new home on the internet", with a white "Download Arc for Mac" button. The footer has a "PRODUCT" column listing "Download", "Privacy Policy" and "Terms of Use" and a "RESOURCES" column listing "Resource Center", "Release Notes" and "Careers @ BCNY". Two social icons sit under the lists, with the wordmark "THE BROWSER COMPANY" at lower right.
On mobile
At 390px the hero keeps its headline and "Try Dia" pill, and the two desktop download buttons become "Download on the App Store", with "or get a download link for Arc on Desktop" beneath. The press strip shrinks to a few cut-off fragments and each feature heading stacks over a narrower mock. The closing block swaps its button for an email field, "Enter your email address", and a red "Get Download Link" button.
Worth borrowing
- Set each feature screenshot on its own coloured backdrop so the product window carries the headline.
- Run press lines as a scrolling strip, each credited to a publication such as "Bloomberg".
- Credit each testimonial with a social handle in an outlined pill, as with "@BEEBOMCO".
