gradient-labs.ai/
Gradient Labs builds specialist AI agents for financial services operations - specifically lending, disputes, and know-your-customer verification - paired with a platform to run the processes between those handoffs. Its hero copy, 'We handle what others hand off,' positions it against tools that only manage automation at the edges. The site backs this with per-customer figures rather than averages: Yonder's dispute cycle sped up 150%, Zego's agents scored 16% higher on customer satisfaction than human staff, and SteadyPay reached a 60% success rate on collection calls. It also lists specific regulatory coverage (FCA, GDPR, PSD2, EU AI Act) and states that one customer's agent, Plum, was set up in 30 minutes - an unusually concrete claim about deployment speed for enterprise financial software.

The home page runs about 9327px of full-width bands: an orange announcement bar and nav, a hero with an isometric illustration, a black customer-logo wall, a tabbed "We handle what others hand off" block, a black stats-and-testimonial band, a pale blue feature grid, integrations, a black security grid, partners, an orange closing call to action and the footer. Backgrounds change at each block, with cream alternating with black, pale blue and orange (#ff8933, #ffa666). Headings use Linear Sans Regular with italic serif eyebrows; body text is Inter, with black pill buttons.
HeroesView crop
Under an orange bar reading "Introducing Collaborate: Improve AI agents like code, wherever you work" and a six-link nav, the headline "AI-native customer operations for financial services" sits above one orange "See it in action" button. An isometric block scene with grey pill labels such as "Loan Application" and "KYB" fills the lower right.
FeaturesView crop
The crop shows the black "Secure & responsible AI by design" section: eight dark grey cards in two rows of four, each with a circular icon, title and short description. Titles include "SOC 2 certified", "GDPR Ready" and "20+ guardrails on every turn". Only the first card carries a "Learn more" link.
Logo cloudsView crop
Fifteen white customer logos sit on black in five columns and three rows, including Wise, ZEGO, plum and Penfold. Seven carry a small grey "Customer story" pill beneath; the rest stand alone, so the pills separate proof with a case study from plain name-drops.
Pricing & PlansView crop
The pricing page has no tiers. "Find the pricing plan that fits" sits beside a four-field form ending in a black "Submit" button, with a customer quote beneath the intro. Below, "Frequently asked questions" lists six white accordion rows with red plus icons, then the orange call to action.
About UsView crop
The about page opens with "We're building AI agents that provide superhuman quality, specialist support" beside a group photo. Three founder cards, former-employer logos, a black investor-logo band and a long founding-story column follow, then stat tiles and a press carousel.
Careers pagesView crop
The careers page begins with "Join the team redefining what AI agents can achieve", an orange "View open roles" button and a staggered row of five team photos. Founder cards, a coral band of six benefit cards and four FAQ rows precede "Open positions", grouped as Operations, Sales and Technology.
Blog pagesView crop
The blog index puts "Our latest insights" over one featured post beside a black wireframe graphic. Text-only white cards run three across, each with a title, red category label and date; arrow icons mark partnership posts. A tan strip with a black "Go to Substack" button ends the list.
FootersView crop
A dark panel headed "Not sure if Gradient Labs is right for you?" holds three pill buttons: "Ask Claude", "Ask Perplexity" and "Ask ChatGPT". The footer has the logo at left and four link columns, Product, Customer stories, Company and Resources, plus social icons and a copyright line.
On mobile
At 390px the hero headline wraps to three lines with the illustration shrunk beneath. The logo wall drops to three columns, the use-case list becomes a horizontally scrolling tab row clipped at "On", and feature and security grids stack into single cards. The integration strip stays cropped at the edge. The final capture slice is blank black.
Worth borrowing
- Alternating cream, black, pale blue and orange full-width bands give each message its own backdrop without needing dividers.
- Adding "Customer story" pills to only some logos in the wall shows which customers have detailed case studies.
- Replacing a price table with an outcomes-pricing form next to a customer quote routes pricing visitors straight into a sales conversation.
