Hiro

hiro.so/

Hiro builds developer infrastructure for the Bitcoin and Stacks ecosystem, giving teams a single dashboard for API keys, Chainhooks (event triggers for onchain data), and analytics across Stacks, Ordinals, BRC-20, and Runes assets. The headline reads "Unified observability for Stacks apps," pitching itself as a command center rather than a single API product. Rather than customer logos, its main trust signal is a single named testimonial from a developer (Néstor Campos) about team ease, alongside links to Discord, GitHub, and a public status page. Copy leans on blunt problem-framing lines like "Stop worrying about" reorgs and "Never serve bad data," aimed squarely at engineers already working in this narrow blockchain niche rather than a broad audience.

Hiro's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Hiro's live page — useful references for engineering & infrastructure landing page design.

Hiro design review: how the homepage is built

The page runs 9317 pixels top to bottom on a near-black background (#0c0c0c). Orange (#ff4800) is the only accent: it fills the primary buttons, the hero screenshot frame glow and the small section tags. Warm greys from the same palette set the cards. The display face is Aeonik, used for the uppercase headlines. Blocks stack as a hero with a product screenshot, a centred statement, three feature cards, a quote, a feature grid, a resources row and a pale footer. The distinctive choice is that each feature card is a mock product screen rather than an icon.

Above the fold

A navigation bar lists "Tools & APIs", "Build", "Resources" and "Blog", with an outlined "Docs" button and an orange "Sign in" button. The hero sits in a bordered panel with a "HIRO PLATFORM" badge, the headline "UNIFIED OBSERVABILITY FOR STACKS APPS", a subhead and one orange "Get your API key" button. Beneath, a dark Projects table lists rows such as "btc-tx-enabled-nft", with tabs reading "Projects", "Chainhooks", "API Hub" and "Monitor".

Statement and three feature cards

A large grey statement reads: "Hiro Platform is the infrastructure layer for scaling Bitcoin applications." Below it, three feature cards stack in a single column offset to the right of the frame. Each pairs a dark mock UI with a title and body copy. "Enterprise-Grade API Management" shows an "Import a repo" dialog, "Event-Driven Architecture with Chainhooks" shows overlapping Call chips, and "Deep Onchain Observability" shows a Chainhooks table.

Developer quote and feature grid

A bordered quote card follows, a developer remark set in monospace between comment markers. The next block opens with an orange "FEATURES" tag above the heading "INFRASTRUCTURE FOR DATA-DRIVEN TEAMS". Beneath it, a two-column grid of six cells holds five titled items: "Unified API Key Access", "Reliable Chainhooks", "Real-time Analytics & Logs", "Intelligent Alerts" and "Automated Reorg Handling". The sixth cell carries an ASCII illustration and a "Read the Docs" link.

Closing section and footer

A "/ DEVELOPER RESOURCES" label heads two outlined cards, "[ DOCUMENTATION ]" and "[ TALK TO US ]", each with a link line: "View the Docs" and "Join #hiro-platform". The page ends on a pale footer with link columns headed "Tools /", "APIs /", "Build /", "Resources /", "Company /" and "Social /". A bottom bar holds "Patent Pledge", "Terms of Service", "Privacy", the status and the copyright.

On mobile

At 390px text and screenshot stack in one column, the headline breaking onto four lines. The statement, cards and feature grid each become full-width, so the five feature cells run as one long vertical list. The closing band adds a centred headline, "Your command center for the Stacks Blockchain is here.", and an orange "Get your API key" button.

Worth borrowing

  • One orange accent carries every primary action, so the eye finds the sign-in and API-key buttons first.
  • Feature cards use dark product mock-ups instead of icons, paired with a title and two short lines.
  • The footer changes to a pale off-white band that breaks the dark page at the very bottom.
