Knock

knock.app/

Knock is messaging infrastructure that lets companies build and send product, marketing, and transactional notifications across email, SMS, push, chat, and in-app from one system instead of wiring up each channel separately. Its homepage leads with "Agentic customer engagement to grow faster," pitching itself at AI-agent-built workflows and offering direct integration with Cursor, Claude, and Codex alongside a CLI. It backs this with concrete operational figures — a 99.99% uptime number, "hundreds of millions" of messages sent monthly, and SDKs across eight-plus languages — plus a compliance list (HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, CCPA) aimed at enterprise buyers. A customer quote on the page claims work that "used to take weeks now takes minutes."

Knock design review: how the homepage is built

The Knock homepage runs about 9,694 pixels tall on desktop, moving from a centred hero and a workflow-builder panel through a logo grid, a bordered grid of feature tiles, email, in-app and data sections, developer tooling and enterprise trust marks to a footer of five link columns. The colour approach is restrained: a near-white page (#fefefd) with hairline grey rules (#e7e7e8), and one accent, coral #ff6c52, on the primary "Get started" button and the "New" tag. The brand matches the catalogue entry, Knock. Within developer infrastructure, the distinctive choice is showing an agent building a workflow beside the hero copy, rather than an architecture diagram.

Above the fold

The headline "Agent-led customer engagement for compounding growth." is centred above the subhead "One platform to manage all your messaging". Two buttons follow: a coral "Get started" and an outlined "Book a demo". Below, a bordered panel with tabs "Agents", "Workflows", "Guides" and "Broadcasts" frames a builder titled "Onboarding workflow", with steps "Trigger workflow", "Send email" and "Delay" beside a chat request for an onboarding sequence.

Logo grid and feature tiles

Below the builder, a customer logo grid wraps into two rows, with "Case study" tags under some. A lede reads "Flexible, AI-native tooling to build any messaging experience you want" above three tiles: "Send messages across email, SMS, push, chat, and in-app." beside an orbit of channel icons, "Build complex messaging journeys with a single prompt." beside a branching flow, and "Deliver messages when and where your users expect them." beside stacked batch and throttle steps.

Email, in-app and data sections

"Never build an email again." sits beside a welcome email with "Personalized greeting" and "Onboarding checklist" bullets, and "User-first controls." beside a preference panel with toggles. "In-app messaging with your own components." introduces notification cards, including "Introducing: faster uploads" and "Bigger, bolder assets". "Unify and activate your data." closes with source nodes for Segment, Hightouch, Stripe and Clerk feeding an audience panel.

Closing section and footer

"Built for developers and agents." lists SDKs in a grid of six languages, followed by "Knock CLI + your AI IDE.", a terminal beside a coding-agent session, and "CI/CD integration." Below, "Messaging infrastructure you can trust." offers four points, "99.99% uptime", "Scaled delivery", "Dedicated success" and "Secure access", then compliance marks for HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR and CCPA. The footer opens with "Customer engagement infrastructure for growth." and five link columns.

On mobile

At 390px the hero headline breaks onto four lines, with the buttons side by side beneath the copy. The workflow builder is dropped, so the logo grid follows the hero. Feature tiles stack to one column, the SDK tiles form a two-column grid, and trust marks shrink to two columns with GDPR and CCPA faded. The footer collapses into one column, and a testimonial carousel shows one card at a time.

Worth borrowing

  • Show the product in the hero: an agent building a workflow beside the headline demonstrates the product.
  • Group channels into one tile row, each tile pairing a sentence with its own illustration.
  • Put compliance marks directly under the trust points, beside the uptime promise.
