Maze
maze.co/
Maze is a user research platform combining recruitment, testing, and analysis in one tool, drawing from a panel it states has over 6 million participants. Its homepage headline, "Research at the pace of change," is followed by a structure built around three explicit stages — Recruit, Research, Analyze — rather than a feature grid, and it groups its differentiators under four labeled pillars: Versatility, Scale, Influence, and "Research-grade AI." It promotes a named report, the "Future of User Research 2026" playbook, as a lead-generation asset, and lists client logos including Adobe, Adidas, and SAP rather than quoted testimonials.

The Maze homepage measures 8,245 pixels at 1440px wide. Order runs from a hero with image tiles, a lime circle statement, a three-tab feature panel, a lime band of feature chips, a versatility card, a playbook promo, a logo strip, a security grid, a closing call to action and a footer. Colour stays on off-white "#f6f5f1" with pale blue "#c9dbf3" and lime "#e8f1ba" surfaces, plus black buttons. Headlines use Phonic in a light weight at very large sizes. Pixelated halftone textures appear on the circle, the security panel and the newsletter image.
Above the fold
A navigation bar holds the Maze logo, five items ("Platform", "Solutions", "Resources", "Customers", "Pricing"), "Log in", an outlined "Try Maze for free" and a black "Get a demo". The headline "Research at the pace of change" spans two lines. Under it sit a gray subline and two buttons, "Try Maze for free" and "Request a demo". On the right, six tiles mix a prompt box, an interview video, photographs and a chart.
Platform statement and feature tabs
After a "Scroll to continue" pill, a pixelated lime circle frames "End-to-end research. One platform." over a gray paragraph. A white panel follows with three oversized tab labels, "Recruit", "Research" and "Analyze", the first highlighted. Its content pairs the heading "Reach the right people, effortlessly", a short paragraph and a link beside a purple "Criteria" form card. A lime band then repeats the pitch above rows of white chips such as "Surveys" and "MCP server".
Versatility, playbook, logos and security
A white card has four small tags ("VERSATILITY", "SCALE", "INFLUENCE", "RESEARCH-GRADE AI") above "Research needs versatility" and a blue interview mockup. A second card promotes "The System of Learning Playbook". "From startups to enterprises, research runs on Maze" heads a gray logo strip including Volvo, Cisco, Hitachi and Revolut. A lime panel titled "Trust and security at every level" holds six white cards in a three-by-two grid, each with a tiny uppercase tag.
Closing section and footer
The closing block is a centered, two-line "Shape change together" at the largest type size on the page, above a black "Sign up" button and an outlined "Request a demo". A hairline rule precedes the footer, with four link columns labelled "COMPANY", "PLATFORM", "RESOURCES" and "USE CASES", with lime "New" badges. A white card at the right offers a newsletter field with "Subscribe" and a lime "Follow us" bar of four icons. A huge black wordmark spans the bottom-left.
On mobile
At 390px the page runs 8,362 pixels, nearly the same length as desktop. The hero mosaic drops beneath the headline and buttons, which stretch to equal widths. The tab labels shrink to a single row with colored dots. The six security cards stack in one column, the closing buttons stay side by side and the footer becomes two columns above the stacked newsletter card.
Worth borrowing
- Oversized tab labels in a feature panel make a three-step story, "Recruit", "Research", "Analyze", readable as navigation.
- Switching between off-white and full-bleed lime bands marks section changes with colour alone.
- Tiny tags over each security card let six short claims be scanned by topic.
