Pasteapp
pasteapp.io/
Paste is a clipboard manager for Mac, iPhone, and iPad that stores unlimited copy history, keeps it searchable, and syncs it across devices entirely through private iCloud rather than the company's own servers. The hero line, "Everything you copy on every device," is backed by a decade of App Store presence and a 4.5-star rating across more than 16,000 reviews. Notably for a utility app, it lists integration with AI coding tools — Claude, Codex, and Cursor — via the Model Context Protocol, and its testimonial section quotes named tech figures by name and title, including the inventor of the hashtag, rather than anonymous star ratings alone.

More blog pagesPasteapp design review: how the homepage is built
The homepage runs about 8,145 pixels tall on desktop. The page calls itself "Paste" and its footer reads "Paste Team ApS", so the listing name Pasteapp refers to the same product under a different brand. Blocks run top to bottom: a hero, a feature carousel, a dark "Built for how you work" section, a testimonial grid, and a closing free-trial band. The palette is mostly white and light grey, with the action blue #0088ff on buttons and an orange #e88826 in the logo and product screenshots. The page leans on its own app screenshots rather than abstract illustration.
Above the fold
The headline "Everything you copy on every device" sits above a grey subhead, then two buttons: "Try for free" in solid blue and "See plans" in outline. Below, a laptop, tablet and phone show the app's clipboard cards, with a green-tagged "Link" card floating over the laptop screen. Badges and an endorsement sit below. The top bar holds five text labels and a blue "Try for free" button at the right edge.
Carousel and AI tools
The block opens with a carousel headed "More than a clipboard", its card showing a laptop beside "Nothing you copy is ever lost". Under it, "Bring your clipboard into your AI tools" heads a row of three cards: "Draft updates from copied notes", "Start from saved research" and "Organize projects in pinboards". Each card has an illustration and a paragraph. A single outline button, "See Paste for AI", closes the block.
Privacy, tiles and developer tabs
Next comes "Private by design", a green shield icon above two lines of copy and then two scrolling rows of clipboard tiles, some with a green lock overlay. Below, a black band headed "Built for how you work" holds four tabs, "Developers", "Designers", "Writers" and "Teams", where the Developers view shows a code editor. The band is followed by a "People everywhere love Paste" grid of testimonials in three columns.
Closing section and footer
The page ends with a banded offer headed "Try Paste free for 7 days", the subline "Then $2.49 a month, billed annually. One app for your Mac, iPhone, and iPad." and two buttons, "Try for free" and "Buy now". A black footer follows with four columns headed "Product", "Resources", "More" and "Follow us", followed by the copyright line "© 2026 Paste Team ApS. All rights reserved."
On mobile
At 390px the hero stacks: the headline breaks onto three lines, and the two buttons become full-width and sit one above the other. The feature cards drop to a single column, and the carousel becomes one card with pagination dots. The dark developer band keeps its tabs, but "Teams" is cut off at the right edge. The footer keeps two columns per row, with "Product" beside "Resources" and "More" beside "Follow us".
Worth borrowing
- Pair a laptop, tablet and phone mockup with the app's own clipboard cards in the hero.
- Give each feature card one illustration above a short paragraph.
- Switch one dark band between four audience tabs: Developers, Designers, Writers and Teams.
