Rerun

rerun.io/

Rerun is a data platform for Physical AI — robotics and spatial-sensor systems — that lets teams log, store, query, visualize, and train on multimodal sensor data (images, point clouds, tensors, time series, meshes) from first recording through large training datasets. Its headline, "The Data Layer for Physical AI," reflects a narrower, more technical framing than a general MLOps pitch. The product is split cleanly into a free, open-source SDK with Python/C++/Rust logging APIs and a local MCP server, versus a paid "Rerun Hub" for managing large-scale datasets with object storage. Notably, the page carries no customer logos, statistics, or testimonials at all — it reads as pure technical documentation rather than a sales-oriented homepage.

Rerun's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Rerun's live page — useful references for engineering & infrastructure landing page design.

Rerun design review: how the homepage is built

The Rerun homepage runs 6,244 pixels tall at desktop width and moves from a hero through an SDK feature band, a Rerun Hub section, a news item, community posts and a footer. The palette is mostly white and near-black, with colour carried by a rainbow ribbon in the hero and by the detected accents #69a5e9, #f65a69 and #fbc879. Buttons, card titles and labels use JetBrains Mono, the display face recorded in the page metadata, while body copy and headlines are a neutral sans-serif. The one saturated element is that streaming illustration, which makes this a restrained light page for an Engineering and Infrastructure product.

Above the fold

Above the fold, a centred headline reads "The Data Layer for Physical AI" over a three-line subhead and two buttons, "GET STARTED" in solid black and "TRY IN BROWSER" outlined. The top bar lists "Product", "Examples", "Learn", "Docs", "Careers" and "News". A white robotic arm sits under the buttons, with a blue, yellow and red ribbon streaming to the right edge.

SDK band and Rerun Hub columns

On the left of the SDK band, grey "Open source SDK." sits above the black heading "A single toolchain to log, transform, query, view, and train on multi-rate, multimodal data.", and a code box reads "pip install rerun-sdk". On the right, three cards titled "VISUALIZE EVERYTHING", "QUERY AND TRANSFORM" and "LOG, STORE, AND CONVERT" carry gradient thumbnails. Below, a "Rerun Hub" pill and heading introduce four columns, "Query", "Transform", "Train" and "Share".

News item and community posts

The news item puts an image on the left and, on the right, a grey "News" kicker over "Spotlight: Better labels for 3D reconstruction" with a bordered "READ POST" button. Below, "The community loves building with Rerun" introduces four project columns, "LEROBOT", "BRUSH", "PYCUVSLAM" and "PROJECT ARIA". A staggered grid of posts follows, with named cards from "jaisel" and "Rust Bytes".

Closing section and footer

The closing band offers "Subscribe to Release notes" beside a black "Subscribe" button, then four link columns headed "Product", "Resources", "Community" and "Company". Under "Backed by", the logos are set in black on a white band: Costanoa, POINT NINE, SEEDCAMP and SUNFLOWER, above a copyright line reading "© 2026 Rerun Technologies AB. All rights reserved." The bottom bar holds "Privacy", "Terms", "Brand" and "Contact".

On mobile

At 390 pixels the navigation shrinks to the logo, a search icon and a menu icon, and the hero buttons stay side by side. The SDK cards drop beneath the code box, and the four Rerun Hub columns stack into one column. The news image moves above its heading. Community posts become a single column, and the investor logos wrap onto three lines.

Worth borrowing

  • A single saturated illustration carries the colour, so the surrounding type, buttons and cards can stay black, white and grey.
  • Monospace capitals mark every feature heading, from the three SDK cards to the four Rerun Hub columns.
  • Community proof comes from named developer posts in a staggered grid, several with embedded video, placed directly beneath the news item.
