Runner

runner.now/

Runner builds one AI agent per customer to run an entire business process end to end — the site's example is invoice collection, where an agent finds the right contact, sends notices on a schedule, negotiates a payment plan, and keeps following up until the money lands, citing a case where a customer's first payment came in "6 days" on an invoice "3 years past due." Its distinctive structural choice is a visible three-step pipeline (Train, Validate, Deploy) with simulation metrics shown as if from an internal dashboard: "670 sessions," "94% eval success." The pitch draws a repeated before/after contrast — "Don't just draft an email... Run a full collection process on all delinquent customers" — instead of a features list, and installation is framed entirely around a Claude Code or Codex plugin command rather than a signup form.

Runner's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Runner's live page — useful references for productivity & collaboration landing page design.

Runner design review: how the homepage is built

The page runs top to bottom as one long column on a warm off-white ground, with the rust accent #a0553a appearing only in the live-event link and grey neutrals carrying the body copy. At 1440px wide the full page is 12,236 pixels tall. Typefaces are Exposure for display headings and Geist with Geist Mono for navigation and labels, so serif headlines sit against a monospace interface voice. The distinctive device is the hero prompt box, which shows "Catch me up on" with Gmail, Slack and WhatsApp chips inline, placed directly under the headline.

Above the fold

The hero sets "Talk to, monitor, and automate the apps you use everyday" on the left, with the uppercase line "START WITH RUNNER TODAY AND SAVE 14+ HOURS A WEEK." above a black "Get started" button on the right. A pill above reads "Live Event: Build Your AI Personal Assistant in 40mins". The top bar lists eight labels. Below, a panel with the tabs "For Me" and "Catch me up" holds the prompt box.

Capability cards and workflow tiles

"You talk, Runner runs" introduces six cards in two rows of three: "Runner does the work", "One app, all your tools" and "Runner remembers" on top, then "Browser automation", "You are in control" and "Workflow library". Below, "Buy back your time with these popular workflows" heads a grid of coloured tiles, including "Morning briefing" and "Founder intro double opt-in", ending with a dashed "Create your own" tile.

Device, model, comparison and fan mail

"Run it from anywhere." shows a phone mockup titled "Customer Success Daily". "Choose your model." arranges provider logos in a ring. "What makes Runner different?" sets prompts on the left, such as "Show me every open loop across work and life", against ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude replies with Runner's longer, action-based answers on the right. "A sample of our daily fan mail." then arranges eight quote cards in three rows.

Closing section and footer

"Your data is kept safe" sits on a black band with four compliance badges. "Connects to the apps you already use" lists 30 app logos in three columns. "You're in good company with Runner" shows eight portrait photos. Pricing offers four tiers from $19 to $200 a month, with an enterprise row offering "Book a demo". A black band headed "Use AI to buy back your time" precedes a link footer with five headed columns.

On mobile

At 390px the hero stacks, with the headline above the prompt box and the "Get started" button below the text. The six capability cards become one long vertical list, each diagram above its paragraph. The eight portrait photos become full-width cards in one column. The workflow tiles and phone mockup stack in a single column, and the footer collapses into stacked link lists.

Worth borrowing

  • A live prompt box under the headline shows the product working before any feature list.
  • A comparison table pairing a short rival answer with a longer action-based reply makes the difference concrete.
  • Fixed grids with dashed rules hold portraits and testimonials, so long proof sections stay scannable.
