Unicorn

unicorn.studio/

Unicorn Studio is a visual canvas for building interactive web graphics — shaders, 3D, and motion effects — that can be shipped directly into sites built on Framer, Webflow, Figma, or custom code, with a JavaScript SDK and its own code editor for writing raw shaders. The homepage headline is "Craft Interactive Graphics that Ship," and it specifies a lightweight 49kb JS library footprint plus a library of 75+ combinable effects, an AI shader agent for describing changes in plain language (demoed live with a "Data Convergence" spline effect), and export to WebM/MP4 with codec control. Free and $14/month "Legend" tiers are listed on the page itself, and testimonials come from named designers at UI8 and SF Compute.

Unicorn design review: how the homepage is built

The page runs 7400 pixels top to bottom on a near-black ground, and violet is the only colour in the interface. The hero shader glows from #8668e7 and #1c1634 down into the black, and purple fills the Sign up button and the Legend pricing card's border glow. The display face is Overused Grotesk, with one word in the headline set in a serif italic. Blocks run hero, product demo, a feature grid, testimonials, pricing and footer. The distinctive choice is a live shader used as the hero, with product panels shown as screenshots rather than illustrations.

Above the fold

A top bar holds "Inspiration", "Resources" and "Pricing" beside a purple "Sign up" button and a dark "Login" button. The centred hero carries a small badge reading "Explore the Inspiration gallery", the headline "Craft Interactive Graphics that Ship", and the subhead "Design production-ready web components with shaders, media, 3D, and interactive motion in a visual canvas." An outlined "Start creating" button sits beneath,

Editor demo and two feature cards

A full-width editor screenshot follows, with a layer list on the left, a canvas holding a blue 2026 made of spheres, and a property panel on the right. Under it, "Go from playground to production in a few clicks." heads two cards: "75+ powerful effects" shows a scattered cluster of shader thumbnails, and "Time based and interaction events" shows a timeline with Y Position, Scale and Amplitude rows beside a glossy sphere.

AI panel and feature grid

A chat panel under "Create shader effects with AI" sits beside a glowing spline shader, Below, "Built for speed" holds a large "49kb" wordmark, and "Ship to your favorite platform" lists three buttons: "Copy to Framer", "Copy to Webflow" and "Copy to Figma". "Optimize performance" shows a render stats panel beside "Video exports". A four-cell strip closes it: "Runs in browser", "Easy to learn", "Code editor" and "Javascript SDK".

Closing section and footer

A heading reading "People are building cool sh*t (and winning awwwards) with Unicorn Studio." leads three testimonial cards and three showcase tiles, one captioned "Approachable Intelligence". Pricing lists seven items under "Free" at $0 and eleven under "Legend" at $14 per month. A "Start exploring" block with a Sign up button precedes a footer with "Join Unicorn today", "Getting Started" and "Hire an expert" links.

On mobile

At 390px the top bar collapses to a menu icon and the headline breaks onto four lines. Sections become single columns, so the feature cards and the four-cell strip stack, and "Go from playground to production in a few clicks." wraps onto three lines. The 49kb wordmark and pipeline panel sit as full-width rows. Testimonials stack one above another, and the Free card sits above the Legend card.

Worth borrowing

  • A live shader in the hero shows the product working before any feature list does.
  • Feature tiles lead with one large numeral or wordmark, such as the 49kb tile, then a short caption.
  • The paid pricing card sits in a glowing violet frame so it outranks the free tier.
