Workos

workos.com/

WorkOS sells enterprise-readiness features as APIs and drop-in UI for application developers, unbundled into named products: AuthKit for user management and auth, SSO, SCIM-based Directory Sync, Audit Logs, fine-grained authorization, and Radar for bot and fraud detection. The homepage itself is unusually spare for a developer-tools site — a short description, a "Start here" links section, and an API overview — rather than a feature-tour landing page. Its most distinctive choice is building explicitly for AI agents alongside human developers: it publishes a separate "Documentation index for LLMs" and full LLM-readable docs text, and offers a hosted MCP server for agent integrations, treating agents as a first-class documentation audience rather than an afterthought.

Workos's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Workos's live page — useful references for engineering & infrastructure landing page design.

Workos design review: how the homepage is built

The WorkOS homepage is about 8,318 pixels tall on desktop and 9,289 pixels on mobile. It runs a white hero with a logo grid, a light feature section, a navy developer band, a directory sync section, an admin section, a customer quote and a footer. The indigo #6363f1 fills the primary buttons and headline accent, while the pale #c9d5f7 supports it on white and light grey panels. Headings use Untitled Sans. The distinctive choice is the navy band in the middle, which turns the page dark for code samples and then returns it to white.

Above the fold

The hero is split. On the left, an eyebrow "Introducing Atlas, your AI coworker" sits above the headline "Your app, Enterprise Ready.". The subhead opens "Start selling to enterprise customers with just a few lines of code." and continues about single sign-on, with a "Get started" button and a "Talk to an expert" link. On the right, toggle cards labelled "Connectors", "Bot Blocking", "Agent Auth" and "Audit Logs" fade toward their edges.

SSO feature cards and the developer band

Below the logos, "Enterprise SSO (and a whole lot more)" sits beside a card illustration of a sign-in form, with the button "Add Single Sign-On to your app". Six features sit in a two-column grid, including "AuthKit", "Magic Auth" and "Multi-Factor Auth". A navy band headed "A unified platform with modern APIs" follows, with a code panel whose tabs run from "Node.js" to "cURL", and a profile response marked "HTTP 200".

Directory sync, admin portal and customer proof

A "Directory Sync" section, headed "SCIM and HRIS integrations? No sweat.", runs down a path of icons to two cards, "SCIM provisioning" and "HRIS integration". "Frictionless set up" introduces the admin portal with the buttons "Try a live demo" and "Watch the launch video". "Why WorkOS?" and "Expand your market" follow, with a video captioned "Watch: Crossing the Enterprise Chasm".

Closing section and footer

A customer quote card reads "Integrating was straightforward, pleasant, and fun." over the attribution "Bryant Chou", "Co-Founder & CTO". A logo strip shows Cursor, Perplexity, Webflow and PlanetScale above a "See more customer stories" link. The light grey footer has four link columns headed "Products", "Developers", "Resources" and "Company". A mark sits at left, and a copyright line sits beside four social icons.

On mobile

At 390px the navigation collapses to a menu icon, and the hero stacks with the headline above the copy while the mock cards disappear. The logo grid shrinks to three columns. The SSO cards become a single column, and the navy band code tabs scroll sideways. The footer link groups fall into two columns. The testimonial and its link stack at full width above the footer.

Worth borrowing

  • A split hero pairs a gradient headline with stacked toggle cards, so the product reads as interface.
  • A navy band between two white sections gives the code samples their own context.
  • Each feature block pairs a bold heading with one button, so the next step is always explicit.
