Browserless design review: how the homepage is built

The page stacks a split hero, a logo strip, three product cards, a problem statement beside a terminal log, a code snippet, three trade-off cards, a stats block, four use-case cards, two testimonials and a case study, a dashboard mockup, compliance pills, a seven-question FAQ, a closing call and a navy footer. The desktop capture is 9336 pixels tall. Pale grey #dde2ea tints the hero, indigo #51589f fills primary buttons and the two lead stats, and slate #1e293b sets the type and footer. Geist sets the headings. The page leans on developer artefacts: an error log, a Puppeteer snippet and a request chart.

Above the fold

Six links run from "Platform" to "Log In", followed by a GitHub count, "Contact Us" and an indigo "Sign Up". On a faint warped grid, "The web layer your agents run on" sets "web layer" in indigo. Under the subhead sit an indigo "Get your API key" and a white "Read the Docs". To the right, a three-node diagram links "Your agent" to a browserless block and a page returning "200 OK".

Product cards, failure log and code

A "Built for AI agents" pill introduces "Your agent is only as good as the browser under it." and three cards, from "MCP tools" to "Authenticated Profiles". "Why your AI automation works in the demo and dies in production" sits beside a dark "PROD.LOG" window of red ERROR and amber WARN lines. "Connect your scripts in minutes. Three lines, no rewrite." pairs a tabbed "PUPPETEER.TS" editor with two numbered steps.

Trade-offs, numbers and use cases

"Your browser layer, without the trade-offs." shows three cards tagged "SCRAPE", "RUN" and "DEPLOY", each with three checked lines. "We've been running browsers at scale for eight years. Since before AI agents were a thing." leads to two large indigo figures, "175M+" and "99.9%", over three smaller stats. "One API. Four ways people actually use it." is a two-by-two grid, from "Web Scraping" to "Screenshots & PDFs", each card with a black code chip.

Proof, dashboard, FAQ and footer

"Shipping with Browserless" sets two quote cards, from "Scott Weinert" and "Christopher Zhen", over a "Case study: Takeoff Copenhagen" panel. "Deploy as code. Debug through a GUI." shows a "Successful requests" area chart with eight metric tiles. Four compliance pills sit under "[ SECURITY & COMPLIANCE ]", then "Common questions" with seven rows. A single indigo button closes the page before a navy footer with four link columns.

On mobile

At 390px the hero buttons stack full width and the agent diagram turns vertical beneath them. The logo strip shows about two logos at a time. Every card grid collapses to one column, and the dashboard mockup shrinks until its metric tiles are hard to read. The closing headline wraps to four centred lines, and the footer centres its logo above two-column link lists.

Worth borrowing

  • Placing a red-and-amber "PROD.LOG" beside the problem statement shows the failure instead of describing it.
  • Tagging three cards "SCRAPE", "RUN" and "DEPLOY" gives a capability list a clear verb-led structure.
  • Ending each use-case card with a one-line code chip tells developers exactly what to call.
