Grafana
grafana.com/
Grafana Labs sells Grafana Cloud, a unified observability platform for collecting and analyzing telemetry data (metrics, logs, traces) across systems and, increasingly, AI agents. The homepage opens with a deliberately symmetrical hero line - 'AI for observability. Observability for AI. One platform for both.' - reflecting a pivot toward monitoring AI systems specifically. It makes a cost argument uncommon among competitors, claiming 'half of telemetry spend is wasted' and that its Adaptive Telemetry suite can cut that spend by up to 80%. Trust signals lean on named enterprise customers (Microsoft, NVIDIA, Salesforce, BlackRock) alongside its open-source roots, citing more than 40 open-source projects on GitHub as part of its credibility case rather than only compliance badges.

More blog pagesGrafana design review: how the homepage is built
The homepage runs 9,263 pixels at 1440px wide and stacks a gradient hero, three alternating feature rows, an integrations orbit, a products grid, certification badges, a demo banner, a carousel, a tabbed testimonial, a community panel, a closing call to action and a six-column footer. Colour comes from a light grey ground, with "#1b55f5" blue reserved for primary buttons and peach, lavender and pale blue washes echoing "#f5c8b7", "#e6bae6" and "#c8e9f4". Headlines use Poppins and body copy uses Inter. Dark dashboard screenshots in pastel frames carry the visual weight.
Above the fold
A banner announcing a "Gartner® Magic Quadrant™" placement sits above a nav with six menu items, "AI/Search", "Sign in" and a blue "Sign up" button. The two-line headline, "AI for observability. Observability for AI. One platform for both.", is centred over the gradient. Two plan-labelled buttons, "Get started free" and "Compare plans", precede an "Ask AI" search field and a row of eight customer logos from "Microsoft" to "Bloomberg".
Feature rows and integrations
Under "See clearly. Act faster. Spend smarter.", three rows alternate text and screenshot sides. Each pairs an icon tile, a heading such as "Cut costs. Only pay for the data that matters.", a short paragraph and a blue arrow link with a dark dashboard image in a tinted rounded frame. "Plug in, not lock in" follows, with round integration icons scattered along faint orbital arcs and one "See integrations" link.
Product grid, proof and demo
A grey panel titled "Products & Solutions" holds 18 white tiles in four columns, marked with yellow and orange dots, then a "Telemetry" row of four blue-dotted tiles. "Secure. Compliant. Proven." shows six certification badges. A dark banner, "Demo time: Try Grafana Cloud", overlays chart graphics. A card carousel and a five-tab testimonial block led by "BlackRock" complete the stretch.
Closing section and footer
A peach panel, "Built on open source. Driven by community.", offers three links beside a collage of six event photos with arched crops. The gradient closing block, "The open observability cloud", repeats the plan buttons as "Create free account" and "Explore Cloud plans" above overlapping screenshots. The footer has a newsletter form, six link columns, six rival comparisons, an oversized "Grafana Labs" wordmark and "Donut take our word for it. Try Grafana Cloud today."
On mobile
At 390px the page grows to 12,701 pixels. The hero headline wraps to five lines, the two buttons stack, and the logos reflow into three rows. Each feature row puts the screenshot above its icon and text. The 18 product tiles become one long single column, while badges form a three-across grid. Testimonial tabs turn into an accordion with "BlackRock" open. The footer drops to two columns.
Worth borrowing
- Placing each plan label, "The Free Forever plan", directly over its own button explains the offer at the point of click.
- Dark dashboard screenshots inside pastel tinted frames give product imagery one consistent container.
- Repeating the hero button pair above a screenshot cluster near the bottom gives long-page visitors a second conversion point.
