Intercom
intercom.com/
Intercom pairs a customer support helpdesk with its AI agent, Fin, positioning them as one integrated system rather than a bot bolted onto separate ticketing software. The headline "A complete system for human and AI customer service" is backed by specific resolution figures: Fin cites a 76% average resolution rate across more than 12,000 customers, and Anthropic's own testimonial claims 40-50% case resolution from AI. Pricing is stated directly on the homepage as $29 per seat plus $0.99 per AI-resolved outcome, an unusually transparent hybrid pricing model for enterprise support software. Named testimonials come with company logos including Anthropic, Clay, and Rocket Money.

More blog pagesIntercom design review: how the homepage is built
The Intercom homepage runs 14,963 pixels at desktop width and opens with an oversized headline over a strip of photographs and ink illustrations, then moves through a tabbed product viewer, a logo wall, three stacked product chapters, a pricing card, a closing headline and a link-heavy footer. Colour comes from product screenshots in purples such as #e3d3f1, #c2add6 and #663498, against warm off-white panels and a single orange render. Headlines use Saans. Hand-drawn art and pinned corner markers give a support product an editorial, gallery-like feel. Serif body copy sits against the sans headlines.
Above the fold
The nav carries the logo, "Product", "Customers", "Resources" and "Pricing" on the left, then "Log in", "Contact sales", "View demo", a black "Start free trial" and an outlined "Fin AI Agent" button. The headline "The only helpdesk designed for the AI Agent era" spans the left in very large type, with a small serif paragraph and two buttons at right. A row of photos and ink drawings leads into four tabs above a purple treemap screenshot.
Logo wall and AI plus human chapter
"Trusted by 30,000+ leading brands" labels a grey logo wall of four rows by six. On a cream panel, "A complete solution for AI and human agents" sets the first half of its heading in black and the rest in grey, with a butterfly drawing beside it. Below, a wide inbox screenshot and two half-width cards, "A seamless experience for customers and agents" and "AI-powered Insights across every interaction", precede a full-width "A self-improving system" card.
Fin spotlight, helpdesk features and engagement
"A world-class AI Agent" pairs a copper flower render with an orange chat panel, then a large Anthropic quote beside a portrait. "Resolve queries faster" uses a screenshot next to three stacked accordions, "Copilot", "AI-enhanced ticketing" and "No code automations". Three wide rows follow, "Omnichannel", "Live customer intelligence" and "Apps and integrations", then "Engage customers at the right moment" and "Monitor and improve every interaction" repeat the accordion layout.
Trust, pricing, closing headline and footer
"A true partner with deep domain expertise" shows three cards: compliance badges, an ink drawing and a blue "Blueprint" grid. A Clay quote precedes "Transparent pricing", a single card reading "$19" per seat per month plus "$0.99" per outcome. The closing headline "Perfect customer experiences, powered by Intercom" is set among scattered photos and two buttons. The footer lists nine monospace-labelled link groups, with "Terms", "Privacy", "Security" below.
On mobile
At 390px the page runs 15,939 pixels. The headline wraps to three lines and the paragraph moves under it, with both buttons directly beneath. The tab row becomes a clipped horizontal strip. Two-column cards stack, and accordion lists keep one item open with "+" and "-" toggles. Logo rows shrink to three across. Quote portraits drop below the text, and the footer collapses into nine labelled rows with arrow toggles.
Worth borrowing
- Greying the second half of each section heading creates a two-tone hierarchy using only type colour.
- Pairing screenshots with accordions keeps dense feature lists short.
- Placing art beside text blocks gives a software page an editorial rhythm.
