Summation

summation.com/

Summation is an AI analyst that connects to a company's data warehouse, ERP, CRM, and spreadsheets to run analysis, check its own work for accuracy, and then execute the resulting plans as actions rather than just producing a report. Its headline, "The AI analyst that turns data into dollars," is organized around named business functions — Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Revenue, Operations — instead of generic feature categories. The site emphasizes self-verification and governance over speed, with a testimonial from Fanatics Commerce's CEO and SOC 2 Type II / ISO 27001 certification called out explicitly, positioning the product for buyers wary of ungoverned AI outputs rather than ones chasing raw automation.

Summation design review: how the homepage is built

The page runs top to bottom in one light column: a hero with a product screenshot, a video block, three product cards, a platform accordion, five department columns, a deployment band, a systems strip and a black footer. Its colours are white and light grey, with blue-grey gradients (#b4c4dd, #d7e1ed) and a copper accent (#b89c85) in the hero and deployment bands. Meta lists STK Bureau Sans Book for display type. The desktop capture is 8,891 pixels tall. Distinctive for its category is a working sample workspace, with a finished deck slide and stat cards, in place of an abstract dashboard.

Above the fold

The headline "The AI analyst that turns data into dollars." sits over a two-line subhead about complete business data, with "Get started free" and "Talk to us" buttons and a "Connect your agent" pill. A blurred band frames a sample workspace, "Summit Outdoors", showing a deck slide headed "Single Deal Leads WoW Growth" and stat cards reading "$12.37M", "+6.3%" and "1 of 4".

Video block, testimonial and product cards

The video block, headed "More moving parts than a mind can hold", pairs a still of two people at a table with an "Our Story" button. A testimonial carousel attributed to "Edward Chung" follows. Then "Summation is AI built to help you run your business." leads three cards: "See the full picture of your business", "Decide what to do next" and "Don't just plan the work. Do it."

Platform accordion, departments and deployment band

The accordion headed "The Summation Platform" holds five rows, "Governed Data" through "Enterprise Controls", with "Model Routing" open to a list of Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, DeepSeek, Z.ai and Kimi. "Built for every team that runs on math" sets out five department columns, "Finance" through "Operations", each with a "Learn more" pill. A gradient band headed "Start simple. Then get ambitious." closes with "Where we come from" and five company logos.

Closing section and footer

The systems section, headed "Connected to the systems behind your numbers", shows five connector tiles above "Spreadsheets, CRM, ERP, Warehouse, and more". "Enterprise-grade from day one" sits beside a blurred panel reading "SOC 2 Type II" and "ISO". A black panel asks "Stop guessing. Start improving." above a "Talk to us" button, then a footer lists "Product", "Resources", "Trust" and "Account".

On mobile

At 390 pixels the hero stacks, with "Connect your agent" dropping to its own row and the screenshot cropped at the right edge. The video block stacks above its button, and the testimonial shows the "Lineage" logo and "Elliott Wolf". The platform panel places a governed-data graphic above its five rows. The departments become a two-column grid, and the footer stacks into single columns.

Worth borrowing

  • A finished deck slide inside a product frame shows the output before any signup.
  • Five equal department columns, each with one line and a link, make a broad product scannable.
  • Naming connected systems with logos answers the integration question early on the page.
