Thinkific
thinkific.com/
Thinkific is an online course platform built around three named pillars — Courses, Communities, and Commerce — letting creators build learning content, run a paid community, and handle payments in one system, with the current hero framing it as "Serious growth. Surprisingly simple." The scale figures on the page are specific rather than rounded marketing numbers: $4.23B earned collectively by customers, 20,000+ teams, and over 100 million course enrollments across 190 countries. It leans on G2 as its proof point (4.5/5 from 405+ reviews, multiple award badges including Top 50 Canada) alongside named customer logos like the University of Oxford and Realtor.com, and highlights a built-in AI teaching assistant as a current product addition.

Heroes
More heroesThinkific design review: how the homepage is built
The page runs 9,983 pixels on desktop and stacks a deep aubergine hero, a pale stone strip of customer logos, a light three-card pitch, a long aubergine product suite built from tick-list columns, a burnt-orange stats band, a closing call to action and a six-column footer. Colour stays within aubergine, warm off-white and saffron yellow. Headlines use a high-contrast serif while labels and body copy use a geometric sans. The serif-plus-yellow emphasis gives the page a publisher-like tone, and the alternating dark and light bands set a rhythm down the scroll.
Above the fold
A white header holds the THINKIFIC wordmark, four nav items, "Sign In", an outlined "Start free trial" and a yellow "Talk to sales". The aubergine hero sets the headline in large white serif with "growth" and "simple" in yellow. Under it sit a grey subhead, the same two buttons, a rating line reading "4.5/5 from over 408 real reviews on G2", and "SOC 2 Type II" and "99.9% uptime" marks. A photo collage fills the right.
Logo strip and three pitch cards
A beige logo strip precedes the centred headline, "Learning experiences that convert on a platform that scales with you", over a paragraph. Three equal cards follow: "An easy-to-use platform to help you launch faster" with a dark "83% Generating course outline" progress tile, "Industry-leading commerce and payment tools" with a line chart titled "Engagement Over Time" beside a donut, and "Unrivaled customer support" with a video-call photo. Each card ends in an outlined button and a coloured base bar.
Product suite with tick lists
The page turns aubergine for "Thinkific’s stand-out suite of products", introduced by a small yellow "One Platform" eyebrow. Each product gets a serif subheading, a paragraph, yellow-ticked columns and a yellow arrow link. "Courses learners actually finish" sits beside a learner-hub screenshot titled "Cardinal". "Community lives inside the Learner Hub" lists eight features, ending with "Weekly email digests". Selling tools include "Automated sales tax and VAT" and "Revenue, MRR, and churn reporting".
Stats band, closing call and footer
Under "The proof, and where to go from here", a burnt-orange band where "The best businesses build on Thinkific" sits left of two large figures, "20K+" labelled "teams supported" and "$4.23B" labelled "earned by customers". The closing block says "Courses. Community. Commerce. We do them better." with the two buttons. The darker footer has six columns: "Solutions", "Platform", "Company", "Customers", "Partners", "Resources", then legal links and social icons.
On mobile
At 390 pixels the hero headline wraps to three lines and the two buttons stack full-width, with the rating centred beneath. The partner logos become a sideways-scrolling row showing "KDDI" and "AMETEK" under "Trusted by 20,000+ teams scaling learning programs". The three cards stack vertically. Tick lists collapse into single columns, stretching the page to 12,812 pixels.
Worth borrowing
- Yellow on "growth" and "simple" ties the hero type to the button colour.
- A rust band holding only "20K+" and "$4.23B" breaks up the aubergine stretches with concentrated proof.
- Repeating the outlined and yellow button pair in the header, hero and closing block keeps the trial and sales paths visible throughout.
