Trae

trae.ai/

Trae is split into two products: TraeCode, described on the site as "Your 10x AI Coding Engineer," and TraeWork, billed as "Your Professional AI Work Assistant" for broader workplace tasks, both reachable from the same minimal homepage under the tagline "Ship Faster with TRAE." The page is unusually thin for the category — it offers separate download links for the two products and a web-based TraeWork option, but includes no user counts, customer logos, testimonials, or benchmark data to support the "10x" claim in the tagline. The overall structure reads as a fast-routing landing page pointing visitors to whichever product they want, rather than a page built to make a case for either one.

Trae's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Trae's live page — useful references for engineering & infrastructure landing page design.

Trae design review: how the homepage is built

The homepage runs from a dark hero through four feature cards, an agent section, a testimonial grid, a privacy panel and a closing download block, across 8,105 pixels of desktop height. The colour approach is dark: near-black #090909 backgrounds, #262627 panels and bright green #32f08c for primary buttons and accents. The detected typefaces are Inter for display and Poppins for body text. The page brands itself as TRAE, matching meta.name, and splits the offer between TraeWork and TraeCode. Its distinctive feature is the green dot-matrix artwork filling the hero's right side.

Above the fold

The hero headline "Ship Faster with TRAE" is two-toned, with grey for the first line and white for the product name. Beneath it, the subhead "TraeWork: Your Professional AI Work Assistant" is followed by "TraeCode: Your 10x AI Coding Engineer". Buttons read "Download TraeWork" in green, "Download TraeCode" as an outline, and a text link, "TraeWork Web". The top bar includes "TraeCode", "Enterprise", "Pricing", "Docs" and "Community".

Four numbered feature cards

Beside the heading "What You'll Unlock with TRAE", four numbered cards each pair a diagram with a title. The first diagram shows six tool icons beneath "Build a financial analytics dashboard". The second, "Ship Autonomously with TRAE SOLO", shows a user request in a chat panel followed by an agent step. The third shows linked SOLO and IDE blocks. The fourth shows three agent tags: "front-end-dev", "back-end-dev" and "qa-engineer".

Agent team, testimonials and privacy cards

A "Ship Faster with TRAE" band with carousel arrows leads to a screenshot captioned "Work with TRAE" above "Build your own agent team". The paragraph describes an open agent framework with custom agents defining their own tools and logic. "Loved by Devs" heading leads into quote cards from accounts such as "AlexS" and "Gary", set in staggered rows. "Privacy and Security" has three cards, "Data Privacy Protection", "Secure Data Access" and "Regional Deployment", each with a small green icon.

Closing section and footer

The closing block reads "Get Started with TraeWork" and "Try it for Free", then a green "Download TraeWork" button. The footer has three link columns headed "Terms", "Resources" and "Connect", including "Docs", "Changelog" and "TRAE Fellow". A base line shows "©2026 TRAE", "SOC 2 Certified" and "Back to top". The footer opens with the TRAE mark at left. The closing band sits on near-black with a thin rule above the footer.

On mobile

At 390px the hero headline stacks above a single "Download TraeWork" button, and "Download TraeCode" drops out. The features collapse into one column, with diagrams clipped at the edges. A "New TraeWork" block sits between hero and features. Testimonials stack as six cards, privacy cards become full-width panels, and footer links wrap into two columns. The hero keeps its dot-matrix background at phone width.

Worth borrowing

  • The hero pairs a two-tone headline with a dot-matrix field and two product download buttons.
  • Each feature card puts a small diagram above its title, so the mechanics show before the copy.
  • Testimonials sit in staggered quote cards, and privacy claims sit in three equal columns with one icon each.
