Cal

cal.com/

Cal.com is scheduling software — competing directly with Calendly — that lets individuals, businesses, and developers manage bookings, with an explicit developer angle for teams building their own scheduling into a product. The homepage leads with a fully-featured free tier and "no credit card required," and states a specific long-range ambition: to "connect a billion people by 2031 through calendar scheduling." Testimonials are attributed to named, verifiable figures like Guillermo Rauch of Vercel and Kent C. Dodds rather than anonymous quotes, and the page separately calls out HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II compliance alongside support for 65+ languages.

Cal's landing page, section by section

Each section below is cropped straight from Cal's live page — useful references for productivity & collaboration landing page design.

Cal design review: what the page does, section by section

The home page runs 8,284 pixels at 1440px wide. It stacks a nav bar, a white hero card with a booking widget, a logo strip, a three-card "How it works" row, a "Benefits" grid, eight icon tiles, a testimonial carousel, an "App store" card, a "Wall of love" quote grid, three FAQ accordions, a closing call-to-action card and a four-column footer. Colour stays in greys: #fafafa surfaces, #d8d8d8 tints, #696969 body text and #181818 buttons. Headlines use Cal Sans. Distinctively, the hero shows a working-looking booking calendar instead of an illustration.

HeroesView crop

Inside a rounded white card, the left column stacks a "Cal.com launches v6.8" pill, the headline "The better way to schedule your meetings", a dark "Sign up with Google" button and a lighter "Sign up with email" button. The right column shows a May calendar booking card, cropped at its edge, above three rating badges.

Pricing & PlansView crop

Under "Choose your Cal.com subscription", four cards show "Free", "$12", "$28" and "Custom" for Individuals, Teams, Organizations and Enterprise. Organizations is inverted to dark. A "Feature breakdown" table repeats the four columns with green checkmarks, grouped under "Advanced features" and "Teams", ending in four collapsed accordions.

About UsView crop

The about page is one narrow text column under "About Cal.com, Inc." and an uppercase "CONNECTING A BILLION PEOPLE BY 2031" line. Bold subheads such as "Why we exist" and "Open salaries" split grey paragraphs and bullet lists. No imagery appears. It closes with "Join us?" and an "apply" link.

Contact UsView crop

The contact page sets "Talk to a Cal.com expert" beside a form with Name, Email, Seat count, "How did you hear about us?" and a message box, ending in a dark "Book a demo" button. A scrolling logo row, a Deel executive quote with rating badges and a "Wall of love" grid follow.

Affiliate pagesView crop

The affiliate headline reads "Turn referrals into revenue – earn 20% while your clients save", above a dashboard screenshot. "Start earning in just 3 easy steps" has three numbered cards showing a sign-up form, a referral link and an earnings chart. Three benefit cards and a closing banner follow.

Careers pagesView crop

The careers capture is short. A two-tone headline, "Work with us" in grey and "and connect a billion people by 2031" in black, sits above one job card. It names "Chief of Staff, GTM", a description, and tags for team, "Hybrid - NYC", "Full-time" and a salary range.

Blog pagesView crop

The blog opens with "Insights on scheduling, productivity, and building open software", eight category pills from "All categories" to "Evergreens", and a search field. A featured "v6.8" changelog card leads a two-column grid of article cards, each with a branded thumbnail, date, title, excerpt and byline.

FootersView crop

The footer's left block holds the logo, five compliance badges, a language selector, an "All Systems Operational" chip, seven download buttons and two review badges. Four link columns, "Solutions", "Use Cases", "Resources" and "Company", follow, with "Cal.com vs Calendly" last.

On mobile

At 390px the page runs 13,917 pixels. The headline and both sign-up buttons sit above the booking card, whose calendar is still clipped at the right edge. Step and benefit cards become single full-width stacks, icon tiles drop to two columns, and the quote wall becomes one long list. Footer links fall into two columns. Nothing is blank.

Worth borrowing

  • A clipped, realistic booking card beside the headline shows the core interaction before any feature copy.
  • Inverting the middle-priced plan to a dark card, as "Organizations" does, directs the eye without extra badges.
  • Repeating "Get started" and "Book a demo" under each section heading keeps a conversion path in reach on a long page.
