Getsphere

getsphere.com/

Sphere automates VAT, GST, and sales tax compliance — calculation, registration, filing, and remittance — across more than 130 jurisdictions, pitched with the line "It shouldn't be your job to understand 190 tax systems. That's ours." Its centerpiece is a named proprietary system, TRAM (Tax Review and Assessment Model), described as reading tax law globally with human tax experts approving determinations, rather than presenting the AI as fully autonomous. The homepage gets concrete about coverage, listing individual country requirements such as Australia's 10% GST with a 75,000 USD threshold, and claims direct integrations into local tax authorities built over two years rather than routing through third-party intermediaries. Customer logos include Deel, Stripe, Xero, and ElevenLabs.

Getsphere design review: how the homepage is built

Getsphere's homepage runs 9,162 pixels on desktop. From the top it stacks an announcement bar, navigation, a centered hero over a half-globe, a logo wall, three alternating text-and-diagram blocks, a testimonial carousel, a four-step walkthrough, and a closing call to action above the footer. The palette is near-black with navy and slate blues (#1c2535, #2b3656, #3d537c), and blue gradients wash behind the walkthrough. ABC Diatype carries the display type. Dotted world maps and small product mockups stand in for charts, a dark, atmospheric choice for the tax category.

Above the fold

A blue banner reads "Announcing our $21M Series A led by a16z. Read more." The navigation holds a logo, five links, "Log In" and a filled "Let's Talk" button. The hero centers a monospaced "GLOBAL TAX COMPLIANCE" tag, the headline "The Only AI-Native Tax Engine" with the second line on a blue highlight block, a subhead, and one "Let's Talk" button. A dark globe rises beneath, with a small Ontario tax card floating over it.

Logo wall and feature blocks

"Trusted by the fastest growing companies in the world" introduces 18 greyed logos in three rows of six. Three feature blocks follow, each with a "Learn More" button: "AI-enabled accuracy & scalability", "Global automation via local rails" and "Rapid time to value". Text and diagram swap sides on each row. The diagrams share one radial dial graphic, and the third sits on a flat mid-blue panel with integration icons orbiting it.

Testimonials and the four-step walkthrough

"What our customers say" opens a horizontal carousel of cards, each with a dotted-pattern logo panel ("Weaviate", "ElevenLabs", "ZEPLIN"), a quote, a monospaced attribution and country flags, with arrow buttons beneath. "The End-To-End Tax Compliance Platform" then introduces four steps: "Monitor", "Register", "Calculate & Collect" and "File & Remit". Each has a heading, one sentence and a wide mockup, such as a dotted world map with four region counts.

Closing section and footer

The closing block sets "Make the world one market" in two lines, the first dimmer, over a blue gradient and a dotted world map. A paragraph repeats "100+ regions. One platform." above a single "Let's talk" button. The footer is one row: "Backed By" with four investor logos ("a16z", "Felicis", "Y Combinator", "20VC") on the left, and "Privacy", "Terms", LinkedIn and X icons on the right.

On mobile

At 390px the page is 7,869 pixels tall and collapses to one column. The hero headline wraps over two lines above a single button. The logo wall becomes a two-column grid of nine rows. Each feature block puts heading, paragraph and button above its diagram, so text always leads. The footer gains a "Competitors" dropdown, and "Backed By" moves below the button.

Worth borrowing

  • Alternating text and diagram rows reusing one dial graphic tie three separate claims into a single visual identity.
  • Labeling the flow "Monitor", "Register", "Calculate & Collect" and "File & Remit" gives a complex service a four-beat order.
  • A one-row footer of investor logos and two legal links keeps the last screen on the "Let's talk" button.
