Oysterhr

oysterhr.com/

Oyster is an Employer-of-Record platform for hiring, paying, and managing full-time staff and contractors in 180+ countries without a company setting up its own local legal entity, with published per-seat pricing on the homepage ($699/employee/month for EOR, $29/contractor/month, $300/hour for advisory services) rather than a "contact sales" wall. It claims compliant onboarding "in as fast as 48 hours" and is B Corp certified, which the site ties directly to a stated emphasis on "fair employment practices, transparent pricing." The tagline "powered by people who care as much as you do" and case studies from GiveDirectly and Chili Piper anchor the trust section.

Oysterhr design review: how the homepage is built

Oyster's homepage runs 15656 pixels on desktop and works as a stack of rounded, differently coloured bands: a dark forest-green hero with a dotted world map, a pale green country-search card, a sky-blue video band, a stack of four pastel cards, a logo wall, a green testimonial, three feature rows, an integrations strip, a pink awards carousel and a dark green pricing band. Colour changes with every band, with a bright mint accent on one headline word. Hand-drawn arrows and doodles add warmth.

Green hero with dotted world map

"The world is your Oyster" spans one line in white, with "Oyster" in bright mint, over a dark green panel. Beneath the subhead sit Trustpilot and G2 star ratings and a "Certified Corporation" mark, then a white "Book a Demo" button beside an outlined "Get Started". A dotted map carries glowing points and six flag-tagged job pills such as "your Software Engineer" and "your Translator". A chat card from "Remy" sits bottom right.

Country search, video and stacked cards

A pale green card asks "Where do you want to hire?" with a country dropdown and a muted "Check availability" button. A blue band follows with "Meet Oyster" over a folded-map video and the line "Hire, pay, and care in 180+ countries without setting up local offices". Under "The most human EOR", four cards stack as the page scrolls, pink "One point of contact", blue "Expert guidance", green "Tailored answers" and purple "Support essentials".

Logo wall, quote and feature rows

"Trusted by teams and partners" sits left of a three-by-three logo grid including Brex, Singapore Airlines and Kinsta, with green "Case Study" pills under four. A mint panel quotes "Lídia Pereira" of Laminar beside her portrait. "Build your global team quickly and compliantly" opens three alternating rows: "Add new hire" with a country list, "Contract quality score" reading 100%, and "Check benefits advisor" with a Spain dropdown.

Integrations, awards and pricing

"Oyster works where you work" is flanked by two hand-drawn arrows over a scrolling row of logos: Slack, Carta, HiBob, Personio, Ashby, BambooHR and Greenhouse, above a dark "See integrations" button. A pink band titled "Don't Take Our Word For It" holds a white award card, "Lighthouse Tech Awards 2026", with "Read More". A dark green band opens "No surprises." in large white type. The footer columns read "SOLUTIONS", "USING OYSTER" and "TRUST & COMPLIANCE".

On mobile

At 390px the hero headline wraps to two lines, the certification mark and both star ratings stack in a centred column, and a single full-width white "Book a Demo" button replaces the pair. Flag pills collapse into one visible pill. The search card and feature mock-ups run in single columns, and logos stay three across.

Worth borrowing

  • Giving every band its own pastel colour makes the long page read as separate, easy-to-place chapters.
  • Flag-tagged job pills on the dotted map turn the global-hiring claim into something readable at a glance.
  • Stacking four coloured cards under one heading shows four support promises without four separate sections.
