Reflect
reflect.app/
Reflect is a networked note-taking app built around backlinking, positioned as a "second brain" with instant sync, end-to-end encryption, and AI features built on GPT-4 and Whisper for transcription. The homepage headline "Think better with Reflect" is paired with the narrower promise "Never miss a note, idea or connection." Pricing is a single flat plan at $10/month billed annually, with a 14-day trial. The About/company section describes Reflect as "an indie team dotted across the globe" whose stated mission is to "improve the way people think by making a jolly good note-taking app" — informal phrasing distinct from typical productivity-tool language. A free "Academy" course is offered alongside the product itself.

Reflect's homepage runs to a 13,460px desktop capture with a near-black ground that the violet glow pulls toward indigo. The main accent is violet #6b34e8, with pale #ebb8fc highlights in the arc of light. Typefaces are AeonikPro for display and Inter for body. The page is built as a long sequence of centred headings, many set over a glowing illustration or a dimmed product screenshot. Block order runs from hero to feature grid, AI, backlinks, meetings, integrations, pricing, testimonials, about, academy and a closing call to action above the footer.
Above the fold
A pill reads "New: Our AI integration just landed" above the headline "Think better with Reflect" and the line "Never miss a note, idea or connection." Beneath, a violet arc of light sits over a dimmed app window with a sidebar of Daily notes, All notes, Tasks and Map, a middle column dated "Sun, April 2nd, 2023" and an April 2023 calendar. The top bar is a five-label pill beside Login and "Start free trial".
Feature grid and AI assistant
Eight features sit in a four-column grid, with "Built for speed", "Networked notes", "iOS app" and "End-to-end encryption" on top, and "Calendar integration", "Publishing", "Instant capture" and "Frictionless search" below. The next block, "Notes with an AI assistant", sits under a Reflect AI pill and shows the card "How to use AI to take better notes" over a violet light column. Five items follow under "What can you do with Reflect AI?".
Backlinks, security and meetings
A dark section headed "Give your brain superpowers" sits under a tall violet flare and holds two panels, "Your thoughts connected." and "Frictionless thought capture." Later, "Never lose information" leads to "Secure but open", and "Get more out of your meetings" shows a calendar view with Google Calendar and Outlook entries. Beneath that, end-to-end encryption keeps notes secure while an export and API keep them accessible.
Closing section and footer
"Use Reflect with other apps" lists Zapier, Readwise, Google and Outlook, and Chrome and Safari. The pricing block, headed "We like keeping things simple" and "One plan one price.", shows $10 per month with a "Start your 14-day trial" button. Testimonials sit under "Loved by thinkers", then an about block headed "We're an indie team dotted across the globe". The page closes on "Think better with Reflect".
On mobile
At 390px the headline wraps onto two lines and the app window becomes a narrow card. Only the "Networked notes" card appears from the feature grid, and "What can you do with Reflect AI?" stacks five items vertically. Pricing bullets fall into one column beneath a full-width "Start your 14-day trial" button, and the footer link groups stack above the newsletter field.
Worth borrowing
- A headline over a glowing illustration, with the product window dimmed behind it, opens the page without a feature tour.
- Each section opens with a centred heading inside its own dark band, so the scroll reads as separate scenes.
- The offer is one plan, "One plan one price.", shown as a single card with a $10 figure and a trial button.
